We went with a gift card that I received for birthday ... we had multiple choices of places to eat ... wish I had chosen somewhere else, my husband shouted over to me about what sauce I wanted I said just mayonnaise not in to hot sauces, like the chicken just not the sauces, anyway the burger came with hot sauce in after waiting for 45 minutes .. was a ridiculous amount of time so what I think was a manager didn't even apologise just said I can change it... already taken 45 mins didn't want to risk waiting longer and then not actually eating together.. not only that, we had both ordered the garlic bread as a side my husband's was fine .. how you would expect garlic bread to look .. however both of mine were black burnt ... which I also mentioned to this what I think was a manager, and he never acknowledged it. Ridiculous customer service, and he walked off, another young lady came quite tall blonde hair .. to do the check back so we explained why we wasn't particularly happy with the meal, the wait the sauce was wrong and the burnt side order, she apologised and also explained that something went wrong in the kitchen that they had to re-cook the orders which is why there was a temporary delay... she then offered me a sweet ... OK much better customer service than the previous Guy, got an apology and a bit of an explanation and an offer of something in way of sorry, however we finished our meals the plates got cleared ... sat finishing our drinks with ample opportunity for anyone to acknowledge the sweet that was offered however nothing, didn't really want to stay a minute longer than was needed and I really wasn't going to them for anything... absolutely shocking really, didn't enjoy it as it was spoilt .... very...
Read moreI usually have a great visit to Nandos, this is the first time that it has been bad. We visited around 7pm no a Thursday evening and were told that there would be a 25 minute wait for food, which we were fine with as we were not in a rush. We waited 40 mins and I went to ask for an update and was told there's now a 40 min wait for food (which is what we had already waited). They said it would be out soon. We waited until 1hr 10mins, and the food arrived. I mentioned to the waiter that were disappointed. I appreciate the fact that there are issues that are sometime out of the staffs control but at no point did anyone come over to apologies for the delay or give us an estimate on how long it would be. Each time I said we were having problems there was no apologies until I said that no one had said sorry. The food was not up to the usual high standard, I had ordered the double chicken but it was certainly not double. I had also ordered Halloumi starter to come as a main and I had to remind the staff that I had ordered it as it had not come with the main (waited 5 mins). We were told (after i'f finished my main) that someone had left it on the cooker and it had burnt, so we had to wait for them to create another one which was clearly rushed as it was very underdone. We were offered free desserts after I had complained to the manager but we declined because we frankly didn't want to be there anymore. I am normally very impressed with Nandos but this time was not good at all, the customer service level...
Read moreVisited this restaurant last Saturday and was made to feel like a second class citizen. My cousin had booked a table for my nephews 13th birthday party and there was some mix up over how many places had been booked . Half of the group was allowed in and the other half was told to wait until a table was cleared which we did and then the second group was sat down. Within 5 minutes i had two bald headed men tell me i had to leave the restaurant along with 7 or 8 hunger kids even though the book was nothing to with myself they made the assumption without asking questions. The manager then threaten to call the police on group of kids aged 12 to 14 because he needed the table for another booking. I feel the manager is very racist as he had no issue with the kids until myself and brothers sat down and he decided there were too many black faces in the restaurant he started making accusations that we were being aggressive when were simply explaining that we'd been told that once a table was clear it was ok for the kids to sit down. The a manager is a disgrace for threatening to call the police on little children and needs to learn to deal with high pressure situations. Would not return here if my life...
