Ai Tea - Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Kirklees

During my day in Huddersfield, I noticed a lot of people drinking bubble tea from Ai Tea. I was exploring the city centre after work, and that’s when my craving for bubble tea occurred. I do love bubble tea!

I arrived at 2pm, and it wasn’t too busy. There was a good number of staff behind the counter, so I was reassured there was someone I could speak to about my order. I believe there is seating upstairs. Ai Tea is 100% halal, and serves a variety of delicious milky and juice-based bubble teas.

I like low sugar, so I wanted minimal sugar in my tea. I asked the man at the till about popular bubble tea options, and sugar/ice ratios. He told me the brown sugar tea is quite popular, and the lady working with him agreed. She said they could reduce the sugar further by not adding brown sugar syrup.

I ordered a Brown Sugar Tea, with plant-based milk and tapioca. I also got minimal ice because it was cold outside. I was so happy the staff delivered a low-sugar option just for me! My bubble tea was yummy, and it was very satisfying to drink. The size of the cup is good too, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

Overall, I had a very positive experience at Ai Tea. Due to the brilliant staff service and what Ai Tea has to offer, I would highly recommend this tea place to anyone visiting...

Bubble tea places are getting more and more popular theses day but this place is among the better ones in my opinion. The place itself is well decorated, a really nice place to hang out with friends and for the foodie photographers the lightning and background is just 🤌. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly going out their way to help us choose from the massive selection of types and flavours, even going as far as to tell us the blends they use and where they get the teas from. I had my first cheese foam tea here and ngl it sounds weird but it's actually really tasty. Highly recommended coming here to give it a try so far my favourite is the brown sugar milk tea(number 18) but if that's not "your cup of tea" you're sure to find one that suits your tastes....

Unfortunately a very negative experience for the 2nd time in 2 weeks 😞 been an ai tea customer for years now, since moving to this new place I've found the bubble teas have gone downhill.

This Watermelon milk tea was watery with barely any flavour. My daughter didn't drink it so it will go to waste like my money. Bought a brown sugar milk tea 2 weeks ago and again was very watery tasting not the usual high quality taste and full of sugar although I stated normal. I gave this feedback especially when ordering this time but unfortunately the exact same experience.

I was driving back to Bradford so couldn't even go back as the shop shuts at 6.30pm. Very very disappointed as these are not cheap to buy. No working number to make a complaint so have had to leave...
