Greggs — Restaurant in Lancaster

Considering that Greggs are a national blue chip company, they have a false economy attitude to not having more than 1 staff member taking orders and serving at busiest breakfast and lunch times every day of the week! I forget how many people myself and others have turned around at the ridiculous queues this creates as we do not have the time to wait easily 10/20 minutes. Area management system education in business management, thinking of brownie points with the company of wages saved, yet must lose double that in lost customers plus surplus criminal food waste access every day. Basically, a total joke. P s. The girls who are there every day are fantastic, but need HELP. National minimum wage??...

As to be expected, food is decent, though the inflation in price in recent years is absolutely sickening! Past few times either myself, my partner or both of us have been in, they've been running low on stock and need to get more staff to keep up with this, or open another store in Lancaster, was much better when we had Market Square too. I think this is the third review I've done of a Greggs... So I must quite like them? With that in mind I've given it a 4*. You know where you are with it don't you? I am partial to a cheeky sausage, bean and cheese melt.. though if it is freshly cooked, then caution is advised.. as the filling is almost as hot as the sun.. not quite McDonald's apple pie level.....
