Pizzetta Republic — Restaurant in Lancaster

I am disgusted, appalled and shocked with the way I was treated by Pizzetta Republic!!!

I open my pizza and there is a very long hair across the pizza, of course I took the pizza back. Instead of them apologising and insisting on replacing my pizza, all of the employees and manager accused me that it was my hair, it was not, it was too long to be mine and I literally just opened the box and there it was. They continued to laugh at me, ridicule me and gang up on me insisting it was mine, with the staff and manager repeatedly and aggressively saying it was absolutely certainly 100% my hair and the manager said he would only make me a new pizza if I admitted it was mine. One of the employees even went to great lengths to rip out one of my hairs to try and prove it was mine!!! They even resulted in swearing at me! Regardless of who's the hair was, I am astounded at the way I was treated.

It appears this is not a one off, many reviews appear to say how rude the staff are, with them putting down the phone on you, shouting at you, accusing you of lying and abdicating any responsibility. Just absolute despicable and totally unacceptable, unprofessional behaviour!

To add, reviews particularly on just eat seem suspect to say the least, with so so so many reviews from the same people, with many appearing the day after, no comment just 5 star after 5 star. Maybe this is them trying to mask the fact that they really are a 2 star restaurant, due to countless complaints about its disgusting customer service, but take from that what you will.

Please I advise you at all costs to stay away!!! Whilst you may be treated well if things go well, if anything goes wrong be prepared to take full responsibility for it and be treated absolutely appallingly with total disrespect. They should not be allowed to get away with treating its customers...

Ordered a szechuan pizza and as i dont like spring onions i write no spring onions due to allergy as i thought they wouldnt ignore that, pizza arrived covered and i mean covered in spring onions, after picking all the onions off i was ready to eat so i pulled off a slice... and all the toppings fell to the centre, after every slice all the toppings fell off so i might aswell have ordered a loaf of bread. Remaining optimistic although still hungry i was prepared to eat the side onion rings with cheese, i opened the box and there was a 1 piece concoction of cheese and onion rings stuck together, after looking at what looked like an onion ring candle i had lost my appetite so just threw it all away, if ordering here i recommend a margarita pizza cause its probably the only decent thing ive had from this place, wont be ordering from...

The pizza(s) here are really good, they even have a chinese-inspired pizza (sichuan style) and greek style pizza which everyone should try. The managers are really friendly and service-minded persons. They like to talk and discuss with students on the campus.

This place also provide all you can eat pizza buffet every saturday on campus branch for just around £6.49 per person and they will provide plenty of pizzas for us.
