My friend and I went along to try the food at Big Buns on a Thursday evening, and it was quite busy at Northern Market, but we did manage to find a table.
We tried out;
The Abs Special Chicken Burger (secret menu) * Big Daddie Beef (£9.45) Frenchie (+£1.95 – added crispy shallots & caramelised onions) with extra Patty (+£2.95) *All burgers come in a brioche bun with lettuce, diced onions, pickles, burger sauce & American cheese. large Buffalo Chicken Fries with extra cheese sauce (£13.95) Huge Onion Rings with a dipping gravy (£5.50) The Burgers were by far the star of the show here and I expected no less. Tasty, juicy, with all the right toppings and sauces that I personally enjoy. The fries were ok, although I have had better fried chicken loaded fries elsewhere recently, but I’ve heard GOOD things about the Donner fries so given the choice maybe they may have been more impressive to try. I had high hopes for the onion rings as I always do.. they sure are huge, but I felt they weren’t as tasty as everything else. If I visit again I’d for sure get the burgers and try some other loaded fries and it’ll be interesting to see some other Specials and burger variations. There are also lots of VEGAN options too.
Opening Times; Daily 12-10pm (8pm Sundays). Big Buns also have a pop-up at Salt in...
Read moreIt's been a few hours now since I've devoured the food I ordered through Uber. So, I feel I need to leave these guys a review
Where can I start...
I've been looking at ordering from here for a while now, but never did. One reason being it looked pricey and second, I thought, do their food really look like this? What a big mistake, I really did myself a disservice there.
So, today finally I decided to take the leap. To say their burgers are tasty, is a massive understatement. They are so TASTY beyond words. The portion sizes, taste and delivery was outstanding. My son & myself thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will DEFINITELY be ordering from them again. Infact, they are now in my favourite list & will 100% be recommending them to anyone i know. Do not think about the price, I can definitely say, every penny was worth it & YES, the food does look how pictured!
A genuine BIG THANK YOU guys to all staff (and whoever made my order)!
Service/hygiene- the servers where great and friendly we asked them for a glass that wasn’t used for alcohol and tap water. Waiter went to find one and was honest when he didn’t find one. This resulted in us having no water with the meal so for that 2/10 🥴
Cheese baby loaded fries- picked simple fries but they was amazing. Came with 2 pots of cheese that you pore yourself as well as a bunch on different sauces. Thick, crispy and juicy. 9.5/10 😍
The volcano burger- unfortunately all there burgers were meat which I’m not usually a fan of. It came with a big onion ring in the middle and was spicy. However tasted pretty standard to me. 6/10 🙂
The frenchie- this beef burger was amazing! Came with caramelised onion and was sweet and spicy. Juicy and mouth watering. 8/10 😋
Pricing/ overall- each item was under £10 so we both spent £15 each which I think was amazing. Was really filling and we couldn’t finish everything. Worth the money should definitely...
