I went to this place for the Quizz Night with my friends, we were having such a great time, it was an very pleasant atmosphere and the hostess of the quiz were really nice. Then I went OUTSIDE to smoke a cbd joint, my friends came to join me and went back inside the bar, thats when a 20 year old supposedly manager came to tell me that my friends could not come back in cause we were smoking weed. I told him it was CBD, and we were outside, and asked what the the problem was, his answer was that his bar stunk. Somehow the smoke from outside got in the bar (people were also smoking cigarettes which in my opinion is a much worse smell) and his bar was stinking. Yes, thats the excuse he used to kick us out. What an absolute nightmare. We were enjoying ourselves so much and got kicked out simply for smoking CBD! In this day and age, with so much scientific evidence supporting the benefits of CBD and its legality in many places, I never thought I'd encounter such outdated and ridiculous behavior. Not only did the teen manager lack basic understanding of current laws and societal norms, but he also displayed a shocking lack of empathy and professionalism. Instead of engaging in a constructive conversation or offering any sort of compromise, he swiftly showed me the door without a second thought. It's disheartening to see businesses like this one still operating with such narrow-mindedness and ignorance. Not only are they driving away customers, but they're also perpetuating harmful stereotypes and stigma surrounding CBD use, whilst making profit on selling alcohol. I strongly advise anyone considering visiting to think twice. Unless you enjoy being treated like a criminal for engaging in perfectly legal and widely accepted behavior, you're better off going elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle and the disappointment, and choose establishments that respect their customers and keep up...

Difficult review because we had a great time on a very very busy Sunday (16 October '22). Popped in for last drinks before train home after the Leeds game. I was excited because I had managed sports bars in Florida for 20 years and really missed this style of place. There was a promotion for the San Francisco 49's so extra loud and busy but no problem, as I said, great buzz. However, I ordered 2 'Sharers' from the bar for our table. First, none of the bartenders (I asked 3) could tell me if the wings were breaded! They quite happily and with a smile said "Don't know"! So I went to the kitchen and asked the line cooks who confirmed they were. How hard is it for your staff to make the effort?? I also ordered the Spicy Beef Nachos (the size of it was an absolute joke!! £13.95 for a tiny bowl!!). All of this aside, my biggest problem was having spent nearly £30 on two dishes nobody brought napkins, cutlery or table condiment box. Food dumped on table 19 and that was it! I went and got what we needed. Maybe they were just too busy to give good service or maybe they are constantly so busy they don't need to worry about it. DON’T GO HERE! Came on Tuesday 29th of June in the evening. First of all we were waiting at the door to be seated longer than we should’ve been until this man wondered over on his phone. No apologies that he kept us waiting or nothing. We finally got seated and they do 2 4 1 cocktails all day everyday, ACE! Right? Wrong. It’s not ace when they take your money, don’t bring the drinks and claim the money will bounce back into my account when it in fact did not. My boyfriend first went over to the man who seated us (he had black crazy hair) and he rudely didn’t even look at my boyfriend when he was speaking to him. We didn’t get a clear answer so I went over and he said “your money is in a holding account and it’ll bounce back into your account. You just need to order your drinks again” THANK GOD WE DIDNT ORDER THEM AGAIN! Because my money never bounced back and it went from a pending transaction to fully gone through.
