This is the 3rd time we have visited Fazenda in Leeds. Our first experience was amazing. Everything was perfect. The second time not so good, but we just put it down to a one off, so gave it a 3rd try yesteday hoping that we would experience the same as our first visit. Sadly it was the worst of all. Fazenda in Leeds has lost its sparkle. The service was very disjointed and didn't flow at all. We stated our preference of how we would like our meat cooked on arrival and that wasn't taken into account and we had to ask specifically again. The green/red card system was ignored. We had food being offered when we were on red and long waits when on green. Sides were served on their own with long waits for the accompanying meat, and by the time the meat arrived the sides were either cold or had been eaten during the wait. We were first served steak cooked medium rare when we had specified mediun to well done on arrival. When we were on red card we were offered sausages which we refused as we were on red. We waited 15 minutes on green and then had to flag someone down. We were then served chicken thighs, with no offer of another side. Next we were offered more beef but again it was too rare. We then had lamb which was very rare so requested a bit more done. After this, there was a specific meats server who became very attentive and looked after us very well and we gratefully thank him for making our experience better from then on. Sadly, the other members of staff were just going through the motions of getting on with themselves without actually being aware of what was happening with us as customers. Numerous staff swooned past in the 15 mins our plates were empty and our cards were on green, and couldn't even give us eye contact, far less notice that we were waiting. When it came to paying and the additional service charge, we left a few pounds as service charge, but it was really only the meat server who made things right. The initial waiter who brought our water and wine was very attentive but somehow between asking how we wanted our meat cooked and getting that info to the kitchen it fell apart. Whilst my husband was paying the bill, I visited the ladies. So disappointed. On previous visits they were spotless. This time I tried 2 of the 3 loos which were blocked with toilet paper and would not flush, the 3rd thankfully was clear and okay to use. The floor was filthy and my feet were actually sticking to it. One of the hand cream dispenser holders was lying empty and rusty. There were no paper towels available as had been previously. Come on, this is important stuff, is no one checking these toilets on a regular basis? I don't know what's gone wrong. As I said, we thought we'd give it another try, but sadly, that's our 3rd and last. We...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my second time visiting Fazenda in Leeds. I came here to celebrate my 40th birthday since I really enjoyed our first experience. We asked for the private dining room but unfortunately they couldnāt give this to us. Instead we were placed in a 3 table set up and we were 7 so 2 had to share one table. I asked to move us away from the wall cause that seemed a bit tight for us to squeeze into. The waitress said there arenāt any other tables and when I asked to move to the table away from the wall she walked off and rolled her eyes. While she was setting the table my daughter wanted to sit down while she set up and in an aggressive tone she said EXCUSE ME and pushed her way through not allowing her to sit down!! After we sat down we noticed she spoke to 3 different members of staff complaining about āthat lady with the attitudeā. Right in front of me and my children! She was close enough that we can hear what she said and when she was farther away my deaf daughter could lip read all the awful things she said about her mother! When I complained to the manager he said sorry I will feed this back to her. That was it! Unnecessary and unacceptable behaviour. She is welcome to complain about a customer she isnāt happy with but not right in front of them and in visible and audible distance from them as well! Disappointing experience!
I have to admit though the other waiters were super friendly and smiley. They made sure we got the meats we wanted and were happy and satisfied the whole time we were there for us and the children. And the food was exceptional! Shame we encountered that extremely rude waitress. Enough to keep us away from this branch of Fazenda. Really shocked and disappointed with how the manager dealt with the complaint. Did not seem to think it was a big deal. He made it sound like a minor issue. In my opinion her behaviour was completely unacceptable and no one should ever have to experience such disrespectful treatment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat resturant, great food, great staff. Many Halal meats on offer and also great quality of hot and cold sides. And all are clearly marked as halal on the menu and the bar. Highly recommended must visit.
Great Experience! One of a kind resturant in Leeds with unique Rodizio way of serving. The resturant is located in Granary Wharf with parking available at £5, 5min walk away from the resturant. I had booked early and were taken right to the table. They are very family friendly and catered for the children by providing the little one with his very own buffalo plate and cutlery which was quite nice gesture. The decor of the place is very stylish and the atmosphere great.
It's all you can eat, with different meats being served on the table cooked medium to medium rare. There is red and green system on the table if you want to be kept being served meat leave the coaster as green if you want to take a breather turn it to red. They serve cold and hot sides, for hot sides you have to order them from the menu and they bring it to the table for cold sides you have to go to the bar. The variety they have for their cold section I have not seen before. High quality with a range of option from hummus to Tuna and potato salad, different meats, salad etc. To be honest this is enough for the price.
For Hot sides I will highly recommend ordering cogumelos (Mushroom with garlic sauce) beautiful it was and so was Brocollini. Chimichurri sauce was excellent as well. The meat were cooked south american style and were great. Specially the lamb. They had good variety of drinks available on the menu and there was also a good choice of dessert.
I will recommend to try Murquoise de Chocolat. Wonderful just right amount of sweet.
The service throught out was excellent. The staff was very attentive. This resturant has one of the best staff š.
Had wonderful dining experience and will definetly...
