Greggs — Restaurant in Leeds

What a cheerful delight of place this is. Came in first thing this morning was ignored for the first few minutes then received a grunt from the person serving. Politely asked for a bacon and sausage baguette, received a bacon and sausage roll instead (didn’t bother correcting the order as 8am effort of debating bread is not the hill I want to lose battle on today) and had it slammed down in-front of me with “that it” thrown in and then an abrupt price followed by immediately turned their back while I was paying and walking off. I worked in retail and hospitality for 15 years and so I am purposely polite to anyone working any place of service is getting shocking everywhere. At least I know I made an effort and said good morning and thank you which is more than can be said for them. In hindsight I have never someone make a sandwich so quick they had that skill down...

Ordered via Uber eats. Took nearly an hour and twenty minutes to arrive with the third driver. Absolutely NOT the drivers fault as he explained that they (Gregg's) had received a call regarding an order that required a change of address and confused that with my order! I have been to this particular Greggs before and had issues then with service speed and quality (bacon dry and clearly hotheld for too long) DO NOT...

Foods been nice in the past. However in the last few visits I have asked how long the wait was untill the sausage rolls or bean and cheese melts were ready and got told 6-8 mins. Upon waiting for almost 15 mins and going back to ask how much longer, I got told another 6-8 mins.

Had to leave, but not before wasting almost 20 mins stood around. Would have just left if they had said It would have been...
