I ordered a delivery through UberEats by paying £49.16, and in short, nothing short of a culinary nightmare.
The purported dishes turned out to be a parade of gastronomic atrocities, with the pinnacle of horror being the salt and pepper chicken dish that was old like Big Ben.
The poultry, a dubious relic of questionable freshness, manifested in a texture so distressingly chewy and rubbery that it bordered on inedible.
It's as if the chefs aimed for a culinary masterpiece and stumbled into the abyss of culinary disaster. The flavors, or rather the lack thereof, betrayed any semblance of authenticity one might associate with Chinese cuisine. Each bite seemed to be an assault on the senses, a reminder of the regrettable decision to dine at this establishment.
Then the nightmare followed with a chicken soup simmered in a tangy ketchup, and I ordered for a hot and spicy vegetarian soup! Yes somehow the kitchen staff did wonder to make the vegetables to turn into chicken, that too inedible one.
I thought the disaster is going to stop and I’ll be having something nice as mains, where they served noodles and a supply prawn base in a separate containers. So that the end customer will Take the burden of tossing two things together to make a prawn noodle!
The establishment's may benefit from ruthless pricing and culinary skills, but this is not going to add any value to their business / professional life!
In summary, this Chinese restaurant stands as a cautionary tale against the perilous pursuit of culinary satisfaction. From the ghastly quality of the food to the dismal atmosphere and service, my experience here was a haunting reminder of how a dining experience can turn into an ordeal. Spare yourself the torment and seek refuge elsewhere for a meal worth savoring.
To the business owner: Have some decency and respect when you charge hefty prices when compared to the quality of food you serve to people.

Read moreThe food was just amazing. We had the hot & sour soup, salt & pepper ribs, plain noodles and grilled king prawns. We always had Chinese food but with time we came to realise some restaurants have lost their ways and eventually all taste the same. HOME traditional Chinese restaurant just made the difference. The ribs were crispy, noodles were not oily or soggy, the prawns were a lovely size and absolutely delicious and the hot & sour soup was one of the best I've had. I was a bit upset by the fact there was a constant banging due to works underneath the room we were in and the service lacked the quality its food had. Not to mention a restaurant that uses Uber eats and we get to the restaurant and it is cash only it is annoying. Nearest ATMs were all out of service so it is suffice to say that I had an annoying end for my lovely meal because I had to walk around trying to find an ATM while my partner was at the restaurant so they wouldn't think we were trying to get a free meal... the signs should be at the entrance so we can see it before we order it. Luckily my partner took her bank card because I pay everything...
Read moreWent to this place on a friend's recommendation but my experience was sub-par, especially, the service and staff behaviour. The staff was cold and that just left a really bad impression of the place inspite of all the reviews I have seen.
We were not served tap water even when requested (did not get it at all). We ordered the chef's special seafood friend rice which was very average. Seemed like the cheaper egg fried rice on the menu tossed with a seafood box from the supermarket. We did appreciate the quantity. I am sure other food items on the menu may be better.
We did request a takeaway and got a box on our table for self-packing. I do not mind that, but I could see the takeaway for the next table was done much more promptly and definitely they were not given boxes to pack themselves. Another thing to keep in mind is its a 'cash only' restaurant for which they have a signage on the counter. We did not notice this on entry, but thankfully we had some cash on ourselves. Its not a problem, but just something to keep in mind considering almost all restaurants in UK are contact less/accept card...
