La Palmera Restaurant — Restaurant in Leeds

I have been coming to a dentist a few miles from here for the last 2 years. Usually my appointments are in the morning, but today's was late afternoon. My partner wanted to avoid the rush hour traffic home down the M62 so we looked for a restaurant nearby where we could eat and pass some time. Oh my word - we were lucky! We found La Palmera and we are so happy that we did. This is a beautiful, classy, restaurant on the edge of a golf course with lots of parking and beautiful views. The staff are amazing - so friendly, kind, and helpful, and the food was just out of this world. We had been meaning to visit this restaurant for some time. How we wish that we had done! The service was just right. A second sense as to exactly when you needed another drink! Not rushed to order. Excellent choices on the full menu, complicated by further excellent chalkboard suggestions. Really must go back as soon as possible, but I do recommend to book well in advance as it was full, on a Thursday night. In itself a positive recommendation. Ate here last night with my husband. I'm a repeat diner but it was his first time. Unfortunately our table was delayed due to a previous group over running, the staff were so applogetic and brought complimentary olives and feta when we were seated.
