Pizza La Fonte Leeds — Restaurant in Leeds

I had a truly terrible experience with Pizza La Fonte (Leeds) and I strongly urge everyone to BEWARE before ordering from here.

I received an uncooked pizza late at night near closing time – shocking quality and unsafe to eat. When I complained, instead of resolving the issue with professionalism, the staff showed pathetic service. They refused to replace my order and falsely promised a refund “if Uber Eats didn’t resolve it.”

When I personally went to the restaurant for my refund (as instructed), the staff member – a guy named Shaquil (or whatever his name was) – not only refused to return my money but also misbehaved, made racist remarks, and rudely blamed me saying, “you guys eat and complain.” This is absolutely unacceptable and highly unprofessional.

Even at that point, instead of issuing a refund, they tried to force another pizza on me, which I clearly didn’t want after such a disgusting experience. This is nothing short of fraudulent behaviour and customer harassment.

I am shocked that the restaurant owner allows such staff to represent their business. I have already reported this incident to customer support, and now I will be escalating it further to other channels to make sure this behaviour does not go unnoticed.

👉 I strongly request everyone to boycott this restaurant until proper action is taken against such unethical staff. Pizza La Fonte Leeds is not only failing in basic food standards but also in customer respect, honesty, and safety.

Customers deserve better....

This place is a complete disgrace. Ordered pizza from Pizza La Fonte Leeds and what arrived was half-cooked, inedible food. When I raised the issue, the staff showed zero professionalism. No replacement was offered, and instead I was pushed around with false promises of a refund.

When I went to the restaurant as advised, I was shocked at the behaviour of their staff. The person I spoke to, Shaquil, was unbelievably rude – passing racist comments and trying to blame me instead of fixing their mistake. Rather than giving a refund, they tried to fob me off with another pizza I didn’t want. This is nothing less than fraud and arrogance.

The way they treat customers is disgusting. Terrible food, dishonest service, and staff with absolutely no respect. I have never experienced such behaviour at any restaurant before.

Food was okay but that isn't my issue... I'm not sure if its new management or something along those lines, but I was overcharged more than the amount I had totalled on their menu. So I called back after paying for my food, only for me to be lied to and hung up on; mid way whilst I tried explaining how they got it wrong on the phone to their staff (in which i had addressed this in the most civil manner possible ).

after tonight's "customer experience", I say they have rude staff (see you end tees) and I certainly won't be spending anymore money here! It's a shame because I quite like their pizza, but oh well!!

1 star rating and no more of my money for you!
