SALT Calls Landing — Restaurant in Leeds

The bar was quiet for Saturday night so can’t fully comment on the atmosphere. Nice interior and a has good selection of drinks including Salt’s own beers. Unfortunately had to deduct two stars due to the quality of the Limoncello Spritz. Two for £14 sounds reasonable but I realised too late that they were part of a pre-mixed cocktail range. You shouldn’t call it a Limoncello Spritz when it comes out of a tap! We ordered four and all four of us were so disappointed with the taste quality as we make them at home as you would in Italy. This used to be my favourite place, the stew and oyster, which has been taken over by Salts brewery and all i can say is wow a perfect example of a pub that's been totally ruined. All the salts pubs have the same look, like it should be in soho, very gaudy and cheap looking. I had a pint of keg beer which was the coldest drink I've ever been served, to the point of no taste, luckily they had a wilde child beer on cask so i left the keg and had a pint of that instead. Absolutely fabulous steak pie with mash and mushy peas. The falafel guys excelled themselves. Wide selection of beers, settled on a 5.5 % IPA which just hit the mark. A real session drink.
