Always a pleasant experience usually, however went in on Tuesday night and could not relax due to the Male member of staff with the long hair possibly in a pony tail, was very rude while speaking to him we opened a tab for example and I was discussing with my friend weather he was wanting to pay cash or card at the end and for some reason the tailed man tells us he's just over heard us saying we didn't have enough money to pay the bill, all I ask is that when listening in to my conversations please make sure you are correct, he lacked manors and basic customer service skills, but here comes the most disturbing point everyone, I found that every time I went to the toilet he would follow and peep his head round the side of the entrance to watch me, I understand that In a pub people do take drugs etc but on a Tuesday night when I've come for something to eat after work and a few drinks after 3 or 4 check ups I'm pretty sure he could of worked out I had broke my seal and was simply using the toilets for its natural purpose, wouldn't be surprised if he's triggered a fear of toilets in me now even today I find my self looking to the entrance while urinating to see if he's peeking at me I think Im scarred from it all. the first bad experience I've had here but put it this way if I'd of been running a peep show and charging £2.50 every Time his head popped out while I urinated my night would of been...

The chain owners are slowly but surely killing this place. 2 rooms each with their own unique atmosphere, Its like 2 different pubs! The 'food' room is where the entertainment is put on. Here's why the chain owners are killing it. The 'food' room has needed updating for a very long time. The main non 'drop screen' tv has a black stripe down it, for over a year hasn't been replaced. The owners have now stopped the Sunday night dj, just as a pub 3 minutes away (bigger pub, more screens for sport too) has started Sunday night entertainment!. The furniture is very very poor and dated, the chairs move from side to side when you sit on them!. Both rooms are extremely warm. Its The pub smacks of the owners taking the local's trade for granted. "They'll come in regardless". Such a lovely atmosphere and fantastic place to meet up with friends, watch sky sports, quiz nights and loads of events coming up I can’t wait to come join in the fun on Saturday at the Macmillan fundraising day, the food is amazing, lots of offers to choose from, plus Sunday roast dinners are delicious and very well priced, a lady called Beth who works there always goes above and beyond to make sure we always have everything we need and she’s always smiling 😁, my partner is looking forward to the race night they have planned on 11th June it sounds great as it’s a family event so kids can join in the fun too and choose from a fab kids menu, I can’t wait to see what the bar lad Aron will be dressing up as on the jubilee weekend , I’ll be definitely be returning very soon , Well Done...
