Definitely the Best breakfast in Lincoln and extremely good value. The ingredients are very good quality, in particular a proper sausage and not one of those plastic ones that come out of the freezer, a very tasty hash brown, mushrooms which you don’t always get in a cooked breakfast and quality black pudding. Very well cleaned and traditional looking cafe. I came after a tiring nightshift looking for something that was open close by on a rainy morning. Was welcomed very quickly by the kind lady who took my order straight away and didn’t spare a second to get straight on it. The inside had a very Lincolnshire feel - awesome to see our counties’ history represented very well inside, Per Ardua. Food was fresh and filling - for £8.50 its nothing to complain about with the offer of black pudding and seasoning/sauce.

2nd visit as we enjoyed our first one. My husband and I always share our main light bite and then cake. We have small appetites. On 1st visit shared large breakfast, and asked for the same, order taken. Plus lattes. We were then told we could not share, we would have to have 2 normal ones, otherwise they would loose £5 on the food. They had never heard such a thing, we said we had, had that before there.
