A reviewer below said that they cater too much to ā€œVegansā€ which I don’t think is the case at all. I eat meat, and am the luckiest person when it comes to vegan/vegetarian options and I can tell you right now I choose my doughnuts based on the flavor that you’d expect and the VEGAN aspect makes no difference at all to the doughnuts and their taste. The red velvet doughnut is to die for, and so is their glazed. If you like crazy flavors, they have a new menu all the time and have one offs so keep your eyes peeled on their instagram. They keep waste to a minimum by closing early when they sell out instead of over baking. Which sucks when you feel like one and they’re closed, but fantastic in other ways. The customer service in their pop up stores were always amazing, I’ve had an ok experience with I think the manager at the Lincoln store. (he’s a guy, I’m sorry I don’t know his name) he’s probably just really busy and trying to keep an eye on the new store, but I think a smile or two would help. He just always looks rushed and annoyed. But like I said, a new store so understandable. The rest of the them are LOVELY. I always get served by this on girl who I think is fairly new, she is so nice. The only negative is that they are a bit slow on serving doughnuts. So if there’s a line you’ll be waiting a little while. Again, it’s a new store so that’ll pick up. Thank you Doughnotts, I’ll miss you when I emigrate home to NZ. I still have 6 months on my gold card too! What am I going to do???

Doughnut was a bit sad and wet and tasted like it was maybe not the freshest.. coffee was really quite bad! They clearly have decent equipment but it just tasted like a latte from a motorway services :( Next time I’ll go for a jammy doughnut from Tesco’s and a costa coffee.. Prices were pretty reasonable though and it’s a fun atmosphere, I like the decor and the staff were friendly.

I bought a couple of the premium doughnuts from the Lincoln store as a birthday present for a friend and then one standard ā€˜red velvet’ for myself. They were really well received! It’s a really good idea for an affordable gift option for students, there’s even gift vouchers if you don’t know what flavours they might want.

There was such a wide variety of flavours! Whilst I’m not vegan myself there were so many vegan options. I didn’t realise that even the non-vegan ones contain a vegan doughnut with non vegan toppings until my second visit, they tasted really fresh and yummy, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to advising you with the flavours, they all looked incredible and it’s really difficult to narrow it down quickly. I thought it was really impressive and reassuring that they are cautious about any allergies or diet requirements.

The store itself is a really nice environment, plenty of seating to say that it is primarily a doughnut shop rather than a coffee shop. With the shop being relatively central it’s not too far away from the University to pop into with friends and to grab one with a drink.

Really enjoyed my experience and can’t wait to visit the other...

First time I’ve ever tried Doughnotts was at the Lincoln store... & I was not disappointed!! The staff were so incredibly patient & helpful with arranging my order, very efficient & friendly too. I made a large order to surprise a group of friends, the box of doughnuts I chose covered a wide selection of vegan and non-vegan flavours. Oh my goodness they all tasted fantastic!! I would definitely recommend as great value for money and pure deliciousness! Can’t wait to go again & eat in store next time (decor...
