Gigi's Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Lincoln

Really lovely place, we stopped in on a cold Saturday afternoon for a quick hot chocolate and bite to eat with some friends. Gigi’s Bar is very welcoming with friendly staff, and they had some beautiful Christmas decor, it made everything feel lovely a cosy!

I’ve knocked off a star as we did have a few issues with our drinks & food. Whilst there were 5 of us, two of our hot drinks came out and were lukewarm and the other three drinks didn’t come out for another 10/15 minutes after this. The food didn’t come out until after we’d all finished our drinks, and one of the dishes we got (chips and pulled Pork), the chips were very underdone. We wouldn’t have necessarily minded the wait but it just would have been nice if someone could tell us there was a delay.

Absolutely fabulous meal. My brother had an all day breakfast and said it was the best ever especially the sausages and cooked to perfection. I had chilli on pitta bread with smashed Avacado. The Chilli had just enough bite to make it not too hot but very tasty. Absolutely loved the quirky building. Very quaint but tastefully set out. Was like a step back in time. The young waitress was so sweet and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Overall a really pleasant welcoming eating experience. Fabulous food at very reasonable prices and the coffee was delicious.

I have known Lian for quite some time and wouldn’t have left a review if it wasn’t genuine, I would have said nothing. I wish them both every success they’ve obviously worked very hard and...

The food was expensive and not great , it's not bistro food , chips and curry for a small portion at £8.00 ? Our coffees were cold , we did raise it with one of the school children aged staff but we didn't pursue it as they didn't have the skills to manage a complaint , our reasons for not returning are the toilets. There is only one, that you have to go up stairs for , then through the restaurant to a tiny back yard full of furniture , up some more steps and at the bottom of that yard is the only toilet, no-one disabled or elderly could access it , our little one had an accident trying to get in the, the toilet itself has blackened , dirty peeling paint , a dirty hand towel and not enough room to manage children and babies in ... just around...
