OK so I admit we were Nandos virgins but were quite excited to go. We were told the waiter didn't take orders and we had to do it through the QR code. Fine. I created an account and ordered the drinks, horrendously overpriced, and you have to pay up front, then my phone ran out of charge so I borrowed himselfs phone, logged back in but it sent the code to my ( dead) phone so I couldn't order any food! I spoke to the non ordering waiter who, rather confused, suggested I go inside to order from the till. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many staff, about 8, all doing nothing, chatting, and having a lovely time, so glad I had to sort my own order out, and not interrupt any of them!! Once I ordered I had to collect my own cutlery and sauces and take them to my table, again so pleased I didn't have to inconvenience any of the staff into doing anything. We ordered a chicken pita and himself had half a chicken and 4 regular sides. Now the pita was lovely (that's the first star), the half chicken was unusual, in that it was clearly the bottom half, consisting of 2 legs, who knew this was an option, and how do you get the top half? The chips were frozen and not cooked, and I would take the Creamy mash to a tribunal over its grey color. The salad they had 'forgotten' the tomatoes and the dressing so I went inside and spoke to a lovely girl, who got that sorted,( that's the second star), although she was confused about the dressing, and asked ME what it said on the website!! So 2 stars, and a hand on heart promise never to return, never to recommend, but if the very helpful lady ever wants a job,...
Read moreMaking a new review today, 7 months later and just to report the bad service and attitude of staff. I came to the front desk and waited to be served. A man came over (white bald man) and I said I’m here to collect my order. Someone lined up behind me and the guy goes i was serving this person. Fair enough, but turns out they worked at another Nando’s store and started having a good ol’ chin wag. I just stood there for a while. Someone else lined up, I stepped away for one second and the man is serving the new person. Another staff member. I eventually got served after 5-10 minutes and the guy acted like nothing had happened. Only for me to give my name and to find my order had been sitting in the warmer for all this time. Extremely frustrating
I made an order on Deliveroo but had a phonecall about 20 minutes later from the restaurant to say they had no nata’s left. We didn’t want any other desserts so were offered a refund for those. We then got a notification to say our order had been cancelled. Very disappointing as by the time we got that the food should’ve arrived but instead it was too late to...
Read moreI've been dreading trying nados again for years.. when they first opened in London they were amazing.. sadly though that was a long time ago. My experience today was rather shocking.. how a great name can go to hell. I ordered the chicken buger.. was awful.. the papo secos, once fresh and large enough, soft and yummy are now tiny and made of rubber .. far too small for the huge piece of tasteless chicken ...the chips nasty and went cold fast and rubbery..my friend ordered the veg burger which was basically a slop of stuff that spread and fell out on picking it up from the plate...side sald with the grains was slapped together without care .. at least it's consistent. Nothing about the food resembles quality or care .. the restaurant itself was dirty and smelly as where the toilets. I felt instantly food poisoned and half hour later I'm on the toilet writing this very poor review. Avoid if you like...
