This review is our opinion. We had a meal here at 7pm on Friday night in January. There was two of us and the restaurant became busy around 7.30 onwards. This is a large open restaurant typical of the type you would see in this kind of setting with many chain restaurants nearby. We went for a set menu for 2 , menu b, plenty of food which felt freshly cooked, nice starter selection, and a nice mains selection with a soup also included. We were full by the end and really enjoyed the busy atmosphere and delicious food. We are not experts on Thai food, but everything we had was full of flavour. We are based north of Lincoln and felt the 25 minute drive was worth it with a multi storey car park nearby which after 6pm was £4.50 for the night. Will visit again I am sure

Good evening - Sawasdee kah, My partner and I visited tonight for a meal and had a lovely time, the food was glorious and the atmosphere was amazing! Near the end as we were preparing to leave, a young man asked what perfume I was wearing and couldn't remember all of them but did show them the second in this list: ● Super milk [smells like lemon, is for hair] - Lush ● Bella Vanilla - Beauty Outlet ● Taskeen Caramel Caskade - Paris Corner ● Follow - Kerosene ● Midnight Magic - Miss So...? ● Palmers Cocoa Butter [solid] Some are expensive however I buy the sample sizes that are cheaper and easier to travel with. I hope out of these, they can find the specific scent that delighted them. Kap kun ma kah Sue-Anne Bright Smuunephotography

Great Food, Very busy, but sensibly spaced which was nice to see. My biggest concern was the management. They were only accepting prebooked tables, but only had 2 staff on and they were rushed off their feet. This meant we waited 45 mins for our bill (had to go and get cash after that as the card machine antitamper had been triggered). Customers would be seated and not served for nearly an hour, many got up and left. The 2 guys on shift were evidently stressed, were clearly left in a really bad situation and just expected to deal with it. Ordinarily I would give this place 5 stars, but the poor management need to buck up their ideas. Its not fair on their staff and it ruins their customers evenings.

I attended Thai marina today for my second visit after loving the first experience. I was excited about the government incentive being applicable here for 50% off per person up to £10 each.

2 of us were dining, the meal itself while delicious, was a noticeably smaller portion of the exact same dish I ordered on my last visit. We also felt quite rushed during our stay, it seemed like we had no time to look over the menu and plates were whisked away without being asked if we were finished.

The current protective guidelines that should be in place due to the covid situation seemed to be completely ignored, tables were squashed together less than 1 metre apart and we observed very little cleaning after guests left, including chairs not being cleaned.

The main issue we encountered was with the bill. Our total came to less than £40 so 50% off should have been applied to the full bill (we had not ordered any alcohol). However they did not abide by the government scheme rules and charged more than it should have been. I explained the problem with the bill and spoke to the manager who was very rude, dismissive and abrupt, talking over me while I tried to calmly explain the government offer, and shouting at me after making me follow him behind the counter to look at the till display in front of all of the staff and other customers. He refused to correct the error and pleaded ignorance to the scheme.

Overall a very negative experience and I will not be going back or recommending...

Food is alright, but absolutely terrible customer service and rude staff (here I am only talking about the guy dressed in green - apparently he may be the owner or the manager).

Me and my friend arrived at Thai Marina at 7pm and placed our order 5 mins later. Our starter came at around 7:20pm and we finished it before 7:30pm. Our main hasn’t come at 7:45pm - we asked the guy in green uniform if they could speed up our order since we had to catch a train at 8:25pm. He was impatient at that time and said we got a starter and they had a queue for food, we would have to wait. At 7:50pm we asked this guy again as there was not much time left for us to walk to the station, he told us the same thing but in a much ruder way. At 7:55pm he finally came with the sharing plates, but still didn’t say when the food would come. We told him if the food is not coming in the next minute we would have to cancel the order and leave since we couldnt miss the train. And this guy in green said “MAYBE YOU CAN GET THE BILL NOW?” in an absolutely ignorant way.

This is totally unacceptable and should never be encouraged. I believe most staff in this restaurant are able to provide good services but never this guy. He ruined my whole experience in this restaurant. I will never...

I'm Indonesian, 52 and have had hundreds of curries in my life (Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian). This one was is the best curry I've ever tasted, honestly. I had curry number 42 (Gaeng Dang), with pork. It's a red curry with slowly cooked pork (medium heat) and coconut milk perfectly flavoured with pineapple, bamboo shoots, cherry tomatoes, lychees and sweet basil. The thickness of soup was perfect, and it's very tasty. Lots of curries I had in the past was too watery, but this one was thick and delicious. The pork was tender, and there were some nice vegetables too. A lychee and a small piece of pineapple were a nice surprise, they really balance the strong curry flavour. The staff was friendly, providing good service. The decor was lovely. One table was dedicated for people who want to sit on the floor. The toilet was clean. The most amazing thing about this place (beside the food) is the swivel chairs. All chairs have 4 legs and yet the all swivel! Thank you for such a nice lunch. Today was actually the second time I went here. The first time was a dinner, about a year ago, and it was...
