Our recent lunch at Aquapod Seafood Restaurant was an enchanting experience, blending the delightful nuances of exceptional seafood, an inviting atmosphere, and the charm of a lovely staff.
From the moment we walked in, we were embraced by an ambiance that radiated warmth and sophistication. The decor, a perfect blend of coastal elegance and modern chic, set the tone for an unforgettable midday meal. The gentle hum of conversation, the clinking of glasses, and the soft melodies playing in the background created an atmosphere that was both lively and intimate.
The seafood was nothing short of divine. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s mastery, bringing forth flavors that were both bold and delicate. The oysters were fresh and briny, the lobster succulent and sweet, and the scallops seared to perfection, melting in the mouth with an exquisite richness. Every bite was a celebration of the ocean’s bounty, prepared with a creativity and finesse that left us in awe.
However, what truly elevated our experience was the impeccable service. The staff at Aquapod Seafood Restaurant were not only attentive and knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about their craft. They guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, offering recommendations that never missed the mark. Their warm smiles and gracious demeanor made us feel like cherished guests, adding a personal touch that was deeply appreciated.
In conclusion, our lunch at Aquapod Seafood Restaurant was a symphony of sensory delights. The stellar seafood, captivating atmosphere, and the wonderful staff created a dining experience that was both magical and memorable. We can’t wait to return and indulge in this oceanic...
Read moreI went here last Saturday and got food poisoning a few hours later. I hadn't eaten anything else on Saturday and within 2 hours after eating the seabass and caesar salad I had diarrhoea.
I had travelled to Liverpool for the day and noticed there was a new seafood restaurant, there were only 2 other customers but I decided to give it a try.
The restaurant was well decorated and the waiters took my order immediately. The caesar salad with prawns was OK it was a large portion. It was slightly unbalanced because it had a salty seasoning on the prawns which didn't mesh well with anchovies and parmesan cheese. I did eat it though and drank water.
When my whole seabass arrived I noticed a strange smell but dismissed it and tasted the fish it was abnormally soft for seabass and the chef had covered it in the tomato and herbs. I didn't finish the fish.
A few hours later I got diahorrea which then escalated to vomiting. I am not a sickly person and rarely get ill. I would not recommend the Aquapod as I have had food poisoning for 4 days. The lack of customers should have been an indication that something was wrong.
If you look at the picture you can see the fish was concealed by the topping which made it difficult for me to see the age of the fish that was served to me.
I wish I could award them no stars as food poisoning is awful.
I'm leaving this review to let people know what I experienced. I have no reason to lie as I have no financial motivation I paid for my meal and have not requested a refund. But I think the truth...
Read moreMy daughter was home from London and we decided to do a little Christmas shopping and late lunch. I said I had noticed a new seafood restaurant on bold street. We were welcomed at the door by friendly staff. The decor and surroundings were very chilled and classic. We noticed an open kitchen which is always a good sign in my book. We had king prawn gyoza 🥟 with a beautiful dip. They were so fresh and plenty of them. We also had Hallumi fries which were big juicy and very crispy coating. My favourite and they didn’t disappoint. For main we had the seafood risotto. Creamy and packed with seafood. I had a large Rose, and my daughter had a large Pinot. And we had a bottle of water put on the table We took our time enjoying the rest after a busy shopping experience. Staff checked if everything was ok and were very professional and attentive. Rose came over to introduce herself and tell us a little about the restaurant. I work nearby and was very excited to visit as Bold street is a very diverse eating place and the seafood restaurant is a great addition. The people on the next table had a seafood platter and looked amazing. I will definitely be back to try that. I would like to thank Rose and the team for an amazing relaxing and tasty experience. I would highly recommend 🙏🏼♥️....
