Basha Food — Restaurant in Liverpool

For what is supposedly a kebab restaurant the kebabs are dreadful. Firstly, for some reason the kebabs are served in takeaway boxes with separate compartments, so there is 2 very small compartments for chips and salad, then 1 larger sized compartment for the kebab meat. The meat itself was not even cut down fresh from the rotisserie, but taken from a plate under the counter that was full of pre-cut kebab meat covered in clingfilm. When I asked to have the meat on top of the chips and the salad on top of the meat (how it is served in every other kebab shop in Liverpool) it seemed like an impossible task. Once this had eventually been done and I told them what sauce I wanted, I returned home to find they had FORGOTTEN TO EVEN ADD THE SAUCE. The Basha Shawarma is incredible, and the burgers are among the best takeaway burgers I've ever had. 60p extra for cheese is a bit steep, but I wouldn't want a burger without it. I will also say that the double burgers are a bit unwieldy, so unless you can unhinge your jaw, or you fancy de-constructing your dinner, I'd get 2 single burgers instead.

The second time I ordered I thought I'd try the "mixed grilled" for £13.50. The food was nice, but I bought it to share and it said it comes with chicken wings... it came with a single chicken wing. Compared to the shawarma I'd had the time before, for about half the price, the value of this is TERRIBLE and the portions are small, so don't make the same mistake I did!

Was stopped by there on the way back to drive to South. Welcoming by friendly and helpful staff 👍. Needed to quick bite for long drive, it was good experience with food except the sides . Ordered mix grill. Meat was tastefully and delicious . Not much waiting for that as the place was not crowded once arrived. They can work more with sides like more breads and salads will be good for eating in. Have enough tables in terms of the place space, no table service but tables are clean and tidy most of the time. They can work with fuzzy drinks as well as they have basic one that they can add more options. Also side sauces needed to be on the table once eating in.
