As a Family, we enjoy regular Trips into the City Centre, which is where we discovered this amazing Restaurant, 3 Years ago. We decided to visit again, this last Weekend, ahead of the School Summer Holidays ending. We booked our Table for 4pm, and whilst there was plentiful Table availability at this time, these Tables do fill quickly, so Booking is advised. We booked ours the Day before; the process was straightforward, and the Staff Member who took the Call, was extremely polite. The Industrial/Contemporary, "fused" Design of the Interior, is fantastic, and adds to the atmosphere and experience. Upon entering the Restaurant, we were promptly greeted, receiving a warm welcome, and promptly shown to our Table. The, "Playlist" of the Music played in the Background, consisted of some brilliant, "forgotten" 70's-90's Tracks, which brought back some great memories. Lilia was the Staff Member allocated to our Table. She allowed us some time to get settled, before coming to greet us. Throughout our Visit, nothing was too much for Lilia. She was friendly, welcoming, attentive, bubbly, and possessed excellent Customer Service Skills. We weren't rushed into ordering, but when we did place our orders, they were processed within an extremely acceptable Time frame, with the Food well presented and piping hot. Can recommend a Pint of Byron Pale ale (it had a Citrus Flavour), whilst we all shared portions of the Onion Rings (the batter on these, was deliciously light) and Cheese Bites (which were accompanied by the highly-recommended Byron Sauce Dip). My Wife and I, both had a, "Dirty Byron" Burger with Double Patty. Whilst loaded with Ingredients, they were both, manageable in size, and delicious. Our Daughter had the House cheeseburger (with Additional Cheese and Bacon), and our Son had the Kids' Menu Cheeseburger. For dessert, my Wife and Daughter both had a Salted Caramel Brownie (which they both enjoyed), whilst I had Oreo Cheesecake (absolutely stunning). Kids ate free, so our Final Bill came to just over £130, which we thought was a true representation of our order. Another brilliant experience of Byron (Liverpool). Thanks to Lilia and her Colleagues for making it such an enjoyable visit, and we look forward to...
Read moreIncredible Crimbo scran! One of the best Festive feasts you'll find in Liverpool. Superb 'Merrymas Burger' with sublime gravy. A perfectly cooked beef patty, thick flavourful sausage patty and the perfect amount of beef dripping mayo and cranberry sauce. The bacon didn't add much though really but other than that I couldn't fault the burger.
I of course had some pigs in blankets aswell. They were fairly standard but the maple mustard dip made them much more enjoyable!
Some 'Roasty Tots' completed my indulgence and they went down a treat. Helped again by that smack daddy gravy. It was thick, lumpy and hot but not boiling like it is in most places.
Probably a touch overpriced ... like most things at Christmas I guess! But a hugely enjoyable meal and fantastic service to boot.
Next visit: Great quality burger
I was excited to try the "Dirty Byron" burger after drooling over the images of it on Instagram. It didn't quite replicate what I was expecting but I enjoyed it still. The burger assembled with care and was cooked nicely. Really good flavours throughout but the amount of pulled brisket was a bit sparce. I did also have to pay £1.50 to add pickles which I find a little annoying when I believe they should be on all burgers as standard!
The tater tots came as a fairly generous portion though and went down a treat. The chicken tenders were fine, nothing to shout about. They were cooked well and had a decent crisp on the coating but lacked seasoning.
The service was ok but not what I expected from reading reviews. The place is a good size though and pleasant to eat in. I felt the food overall was a little bit overpriced but I didn't regret my choice. I left pretty satisfied but my previous visit was much more...
Read moreThis was honestly one of the worst experiences Iv faced at a restaurant before and this was all down to the behaviour of one waiter I went with my girlfriend and her 3 mates (all female) then when the man went to take our order I knew what I wanted so I started to order then he rudely interrupted and said no ladies first I laughed thinking he was joking but he stayed deadly serious and proceeded to take the rest of the girls orders despite 2 of them not quite knowing what they wanted don’t see how it matters when we’re all on the same table
Then the 3 girls on my table received there drinks first by this man apart from mine who decided to bring my coke 5 mins later very strange again felt deliberate may be wrong
Food came obviously again he made sure mine came last as I was the male in the group at this point starting to feel quite uncomfortable wondering what his actual problem is with me
Then when we asked for the bill this was the bit which really made me want to just get out of this unpleasant experience he brings the bill put it’s straight to me waiting for my hand to come and collect it as if I’m the male I have to pay
Then when we went to pay 20 mins after receiving the bill he refused to let us split it despite putting a service charge on
Honestly didn’t think this type of dinosaur behaviour which was extremely sexist still happened in 2023 especially when your suppose to receive a service from someone
Will never return to the Liverpool branch whilst he’s serving he didn’t have a name tag so can’t identify who he was but he was the only man waiting on a 2pm on Sunday the...
