Casa Roni — Restaurant in Liverpool

Absolute disgrace!!! Went into casaroni to find no table had been made available for us at our time slot, even tho you are only given a 2 hour time slot at the table before being asked to leave. Had to wait for a family to finish their meal before a table was cleaned and set. After pre ordering months in advance we were told there was a problem with their system so they had none of our info so we would all have to place order again. We then had to wait for a member of staff to take our order and it turned out they couldn't understand English very well. After a long wait we received our starters which wasn't too bad, then we waited ages for our mains, which were the worst ive ever seen no veg no Yorkshire pudding no roast potatoes no carrot and turnip just 2 pieces of tough meat and a couple of tiny carrots and 1 and a half boiled potatoes. We then give our order for dessert to which we were told certain items were out of stock so had to make a different choice and off the member of staff went 20 minutes later we had to ask for our dessert again once again we had to give our dessert order and off the member of staff went another 10 minutes went by no desserts at which point people were queuing and waiting for tables and we then brought our dessert being made to rush so the people standing could have a seat. The quickest part of the night was when casaroni took payment and they had the cheek to automatically put on service charge. Will never be going again worst meal I have ever had....

Asked 4 times by non communicating staff if our food was ok. Sat us next to a table for kids party. Surely parties should be kept separate for such noisy tables, perhaps upstairs. Asked for tap water and given bottle instead as this costs us money and came without ice and lemon as requested. Advertised wild mushroom linguine and I got button mushroom which were over run with other the ingredients and there were hardly any mushrooms at all. Bread for starter was obviously cheap due to the bitterness and uniform factory appearance of the pieces. Prawn starter was drowned in a bowl of cream with hardly any seasoning. Prawns were cooked perfectly but the rest of the meal was disappointing. The pizza had no flavour also. The good reviews I can see must be from the people who appreciate lower standards but for Italian food, it’s more than this. The fake plants outside should have given me a warning. The waiting on staff apart from the manager was were friendly, approachable and efficient. The decor is beautiful and the building itself compliments the nature of the business however the standards in house let this down further. We won’t...

Well what can I say, firstly I’ll definitely be visiting again was spoilt for choice with so much choice on menu and all sounded delicious too. I finally decided on king prawn linguine and it didn’t disappoint, It was devine plenty of prawns and fantastic flavours, my other half had peri chicken and he really enjoyed it. One thing I loved about the menu was there was a good choice on kids menu too and always find kids menus very limited, my son loved the activities and quiz on the menu too. The service was impeccable and Paulo our server was very attentive, and made sure to include our son when speaking to us which I thought was very nice. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very comfortable chairs and tables spread apart so you don’t feel like your sitting to close to the table next to you.
