Salt & Pepper House — Local services in Liverpool

Ive been hearing about this place from family who lives nearby, i live miles away in Crosby and had to drive all the way down to try what was recommended to me. Ordered over £40 cos dont really go down these ways. What i can say is that the food is FABULOUS. Its that good i will break it down on bullet points:

Crispy beef northern style: got recommended claiming that the beef stays crispy even after many hours... TRUE.... however my cousin who ordered it, told me to get it without veg, that way you can get well more beef 😂😂 the carrot batons and the onions you can add yourself, lol during this pandemic you have to try and get the most for value, if you ask the meal without veg, you get at least double the amount of beef. Major thumbs up for that👍👍👍

King prawn chilli garlic: ask again without veg, they give 12 pieces with veg anyway, but if you ask without veg... you get at least 16 king prawns 👍👍👍

Same applies to salt and pepper king prawn.. ask with no veg... you get well more

Lemon chicken and peking duck: This place is so generous they fry a whole duck then chop it evenly... defo value for its price... the chicken is totally overfilled to the rim... defo better than any china town restaurant!!!!

the owner which i told was STE will always throw in free spring rolls and crispy wantons when you order over £30... major attraction

The service is impeccable, the owner ste comes out of the kitchen even in the middle of service at weekends when it is the most busy and thanks you for the custom and gives you a free 2 litre bottle of your choice too👍👍👍👍

All in all.......

I’ve ate in a lot of places, in Hong Kong and China and have great home cooked food all my life. This takeaway is the best. Ordered here twice and it’s the only takeaway we will go to. Better than any restaurants I’ve ate in the north west this year.

Big, fresh, piping hot portions. Spring rolls still crispy when we took it home. Tried their famous sweet chilli crispy beef- great if you like a bit of kick.

We ordered a few appetizers from this takeaway today and it was terrible. We ordered a few things that is pretty hard to get wrong, or so i would have thought: MixVeg, Chips, Prawn Toast & Curry Sauce The chips were wet and warm (condensation) and some were not cooked in the middle, the prawn toast smelled stale and was over cooked - , not to their usual standard. The only thing that was nice was the curry sauce. I tried calling them but they didnt pick up after multiple tries. The only reason I'm not giving 1 out of 5 is for the fact that the delivery was quicker than estimated on a Saturday. We have ordered from SnP before but...
