Amakura is Molyneux’s Coffee Shop as of 01/01/2026 — Restaurant in Liverpool

Returning home in my taxi from a Speke Airport run i was feeling a little peckish and esculent so decided take in a spot of lunch. My initial impression of the wonderfully named Amakura was its welcoming ,and friendly ambience in particularly from the proprietor the effervescent Kath. From the extensive menu I opted for the Omelette , side salad and homemade coleslaw followed by a piece of home made cake I am happy to report that the food was as good as the aforementioned marvellous atmosphere , the omelette was light and fluffy in texture with the piece de la resistance being the dessert consisting of homemade red velvet cake. The competitive pricing was made even cheaper by a 50% discount the cafe is currently running during certain times in the week. I can most certainly recommend The Amakura Cafe and will definitely visiting it again when working in...

I was staying at the Coach House Mersyside through Airbnb. It is a lovely self contained flat in a converted coach house in the grounds of a grand listed home among mature treasure in the leafy suburb of Grassendale.

This Cafe was a great find. I went there on my first day and then every day thereafter. I figured I wasn't going to find a more pleasant place to start my day with great food, great coffee, and great service.

I had the best omelette I have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble either. I am on a high protein, low carb diet. They just adjusted the dishes for me. Everything is home made. I wish I could have had a piece of the delicious looking cakes they had there. But I did enjoy their home made coleslaw - the mayonnaise they have made was divine.

I wish I had a cafe like that around the corner from where I live...

The amount of times I've walked past here and not gone in.........What an aberration on my part!Perfectly run catering operation.In fact,I would go as far to say the most likeable coffee shop I've ever been in.It ticked every single box 📦 and then some.EVERYTHING DONE CORRECTLY with the minimum of fuss and maximum effect.An absolute pleasure to experience true and honest customer service which has vanished in recent times....Thank you,Kath and staff.It truly was emotional to walk into a place and you know straight away you're where you should...
