A great addition to the south Liverpool bar and pub scene. I would not strictly classify butchers as a bar or pub. It is more similar to a continental style cafe bar. Previously a local butchers shop (hence the name and paraphernalia).
So first things first butchers is table service only, this means that unfortunately if there is no free seating you cannot stand. The advantage of this though is you get table service for your drinks on an evening which is something not often experienced in the UK outside of a restaurant.
There is a choice of 3 cask beers on the bar usually always featuring one local beer, keg craft beers are also available alongside a substantial range of world bottled beers.

However I donโt like when the owners come into the cafรจ highly intoxicated, being loud and inconsiderate to customers with their friends.
