Myra Mediterranean — Restaurant in Liverpool

This place is honestly a joke. They’ve gone all out making it look fancy and extravagant, but the food is average at best — small portions, bland taste, and completely overpriced for what you get. It’s always empty, which really says it all.

Let’s be real: opening a restaurant like this on Smithdown Road is hilarious. Smithdown is a student area — most people around here are broke students who aren’t going to spend that kind of money on tiny portions and mediocre food. Whoever thought that was a smart business idea clearly didn’t think it through.

Also, most of the glowing Google reviews seem fake — probably written by friends of the owners trying to make the place look better than it is. Honestly, the whole thing feels like a show with no substance. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place...

First time trying Myra and was far from disappointed! The food was unbelievable with the rich variety of flavours in each dish, even the bread was unreal. Service was attentive and professional, we went when it was quiet on a Monday evening at 6pm where there was a few tables dining as well, the music fitted well with the aesthetic of the restaurant and wasn’t too loud. Was very impressive with how clean the whole restaurant was and even the toilets were up to amazing standard with some toiletries available for women if need be which is a very nice touch of hospitality. Definitely would recommend this place as the prices are affordable especially with today’s standard of costs. 10/10 will definitely be back with more mouths to feed in this...

Sipped coffee and sampled the delights of the Antalya Breakfast Platter in the sunshine on Smithdown Road today. Just like being back in Turkey! And in November would you believe?! Beautiful service. Welcomed with open arms by Ibrahim and family and served with heart ( quite literally on my cappuccino ❤️) by lovely Denise. Food was truly delectable and so nourishing. I even got to make new friend in the sunshine as we sat and watched the world go by.
