Me and my partner visited Nandos for a meal together whilst visiting the retail park.
As the Nandos is based on a retail park there is plenty of parking available, including disabled parking outside. There are also plenty of shops and even some activities you can do during your visit.
When we arrived we were seated immediately. We visited around 3pm so we were alittle early for the tea time rush, it was very quiet at this time.
We were asked if we had been before and were given the option to order at the till or scan a QR code to order. I honestly prefer ordering at the till but we used the QR code to see how easy it was and it was very straight forward! The QR code brings up the menu and you just add to your basket what you want. You have to place your table number in and then pay. Nice and simple.
The food arrived very quickly and was hot when it arrived, nice and fresh. I love how you can personalize how spicy you want your dish to me. My partner would still like something more spicy! The food was delicious and relatively healthy too.
The restaurant was clean and the toilets were relatively clean too, just some tissue on the ground. There were alot of staff member and they even had some training happening during the time we were eating but this was also kept out of the way. It was a very...
Read moreI love Nandos, but my last time being in there was a total disappointment. It was just after the lockdown and we weren’t very aware of the new way they operate and as soon as we approached the manager was not welcoming at all, he just showed us the way out without explaining and saying you have to wait in there. We entered the virtual queue anyway just assuming he was just having a bad day. After we seated the online app was not functioning at all and no one didn’t even care, we were basically seated for at least 20 min asking the staff for assistance and then someone came saying ok you can order from the till because might be a problem with the internet. So until then my 3 year old son was just bored of waiting for the food and he just jumped from the sofa running to the main entrance and the manager again was really rude saying if you don’t sit him I will ask you to leave. I completely understand the new rules and everything about the situation now but for god sake it’s only a child, and as bad as he can be at least you have to have a nice approach to the client not make me feel uncomfortable. My concers is please don’t let in charge people who are not trained on the hospitality service. A manager should never be rude...
Read moreThis is easily the worst nando’s I’ve been to, twice I’ve been and had an equally bad experience. The parking is horrendous, there must be 50 spaces for 4 restaurants and a cinema? Seriously? That’s ridiculous or you have to park by the shops which used to be full before the opening of the restaurants and is even worse now. The experience inside is poor, takes a long time to be greeted, there are minimal staff serving, the wait time for a table both times was 30 minutes then it’s a further 20 minutes for food. The staff are friendly but they’re just not interested, no one comes over to check your food which by the way was just warm but I couldn’t be bothered sending it back as I would have been waiting for ages for another. The garlic bread wasn’t cooked. It’s just awful compared to other nando’s. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend, just stick with L1 or go to Wagamama next door the food is great and the service has been excellent on my...
