Recently visited as a group of 16 for a Saturday morning breakfast. First impressions when I turned up was Wow, this place belongs on a street in Italy 🇮🇹 fantastic and looks so authentic. We ran into an issue straight away before being seated, there is no car park and street parking means you must pay which is fine except its only an app which was an absolute nightmare and took many members of the group 15 min to sort, not the restaurants fault but be aware. Inside the staff greeted us with a smile and showed us to our seats in the back area due to our group size. Service was a little slow, we ordered teas and coffees to start and I would estimate it was around 15min before the coffee was brought across, a little too long in my opinion. Food orders were taken but we were told we wasn't allowed to order omelette due to us being a group and it would slow the kitchen and slow the service. Food was ok, nothing spectacular, Eggs Benedict Royale, a Full English (which we wasn't allowed to remove the black pudding from, they had to bring it on the plate, very strange) Kids scrambled egg on toast and a kids breakfast. 4 Breakfasts 2 of which were kids, and 4 drinks 2 of which were kids came to around £55, plus parking charge. Would I say it was value for money, probably not. I have no issues with paying for top service and food but the service wasn't all there and the food was nice but nothing spectacular.

I've been visiting this restaurant for many years now, and or continues to get better and better. Their menu is constantly improving, but not at the expense of old favourites and reliable classics - the pizzas now are as delicious, inventive, and enticing as ever - but now they do vegan and gluten free options, clearly marked on the menu. No bland offerings here - their options for those with dietary requirements, allergies, or other restrictions are delicious; I particularly recommend their Earth Mother pizza for my fellow vegan coeliacs! The rose gin cocktail is a perfect companion to a meal here - or if you're not drinking alcohol, then one of their (very generously sized) pots of tea goes brilliantly with one of their desserts - of which there is a wealth of choice (though not so much for vegan or gluten free). I'm reliably informed the tiramisu is epic. Cosy, service attentive without being overbearing, and plenty of space for big groups as well as more intimate evenings. Parking is free in the surrounding streets after 6!

Abysmal service, uncooked food and all round poor showing. Arrived around 1:10pm and were shown to a table that needed wiping before we were able to sit. Waited another 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We ordered the Greek salad and Lamb Kofta, and for drinks a diet coke and an iced coffee. Our server forgot to put the drinks through, so after 15 mins of waiting we finally received them. This was followed by another 20 min wait for food, the place was rather empty so can't understand the length of the wait. The kofta arrived pink and uncooked in the centre on all three. The salad also had onions on despite my partner requesting no onions. My Greek salad was poor with a lawnmower bins worth of rocket dumped over the top. Thankfully the drinks were knocked off the bill as was the Kofta. However £11.50 for a disappointing Greek salad leaves a poor taste in the mouth. For reference, this the amount of rocket left after eating the Greek salad.

Had dinner here last night, and honestly, it was utterly wonderful. It was so good, and I was enjoying myself so much, that I didn't even take any photos of the food, which is a pity, in hindsight.

From the moment we stepped inside (without a booking) they were super-friendly, attentive, and just looked after us so well. My beloved has a disability, and also a food allergy which can cause consternation in many a restaurant, but The Quarter staff took both in their stride, being very careful with the details but without making a fuss, without making him feel "special"!

The food was incredible. We hadn't eaten since early that morning so had giant appetites. We got the bread with oil and balsamic to dip in - they cooked fresh flatbread for us to avoid any allergy issues - warm and soft - perfect. Himself had Pollo Pasta with bacon. They cook everything fresh anyhow, but they made the sauce especially without garlic or onions and Óran said it tasted amazing, which is not an easy thing to achieve - so fair dues to the chef. I had a pizza with two types of onions on it to make up for the dirth of the allium family in my life. It made me so happy, I can't even express it!

Himself had a Raspberry Bakewell with warm custard to finish. I haven't seen him that happy about a meal for quite a while.

The staff, I have to say, they were all so attentive, but not in your face. They all seemed to get on so well with each other too, which is such a good sign. The atmosphere was lovely, and great music. It's worth mentioning that they are LGBTQI+ friendly, which you would expect everywhere, but they made it very clear, which is a nice touch.

I cannot fault a single thing. One of the best eating out experiences I've had for a very long time. Thank you The Quarter...

My wife had been here for breakfast with her family a few weeks ago, so we tried it out for lunch. We visited at Friday lunch time but were eating our main meal of the day. I'm not keen on Pizza and wanted more than a Salad (I wish I had chosen a salad!). I wasn't keen on the Pasta options (but probably should have chosen Prawn Linguine), so was left with a choice from the 'Grill' section of the menu. My wife chose the same as me and we both regretted our choice of Lamb Kofta. Although it was a generous portion it was not what we had hoped for. "Greek Salad" was a bit of a stretch... throwing a sprinkling of feta on lettuce, cucumber and tomato is not quite 'Greek' to me. The Kofta had some flavour but was not the greek taste we had anticipated? The Tzatziki was good. The Flatbread was soaked in fatty Kofta juice. I am not expert but wonder if the Kofta had been frozen or made a few days ago? Lots of juice but quite dry (happy to be corrected).

We both left smelling of 'kitchen & cooking'. I'd recommend asking to sit further into the restaurant away from the open kitchen where it seemed to have a better atmosphere and aroma.

Apart from the smell, the restaurant and toilets appeared clean. The toilets were well decorated.

If you make better menu choices I'm sure you will enjoy eating here. We left to have coffee and dessert elsewhere due to the smell and disappointment of our poor choice of main course. The dessert options looked nice.

Staff were nice enough, nothing over the top. It wasn't very busy. Give it a try. I doubt we will...
