Just a short walk away from Liverpool Lime Street train station, we were a group looking for somewhere to eat, whole on a day out in the city. We liked the look of the menu on display outside, and we weren't disappointed when we went inside! We recieved a warm welcome and were shown to our seats, the high vaulted glass ceiling added to the wow factor. The staff were attentive and friendly and took our drinks order promptly and the drinks arrived quickly. Cocktails looked and tasted great and soft drink were in bottles served with tumblers with fruit and ice giving them an upmarket feel. I have food allergies so I tend to order vegan meals when im out to avoid taking any risks. There was plenty for me to choose from with all vegan options clearly marked. I wasn't disappointed with my choices and was pleased that I was able to have a dessert, something that other eating establishments quite often fail to provide for its vegan diners. It was also nice to see that the vegan options were included in the lunchtime meal offer. The portion sizes were large and the food was well prepared and tasty. Our waitress was professional and friendly as was the manager on duty that day. The bathroom was clean and had a victorian chic decor which was lovely. There was a small play area for children away from diners at the back of the building and colouring was available for diners with children. I was surprised to learn this was a chain restaurant because the staff gave it an independent restaurant feel, by this I mean thier attention to detail and service was something I would expect of staff personally invested in the business. I would highly recommend visiting and I will be returning when I...

This was my first time here. The staff are very customer focused which is great and the ambience in this place is rustic with a modern twist. From the recycled pallet boards on the walls and wooden reclaimed floor which I am a huge fan of the the arched glass ceiling. The architecture is sympathetic to the re purposing of what was once a shopping arcade corridor.

The food we chose was from the Vegan menu and they have a great choice if you are on a vegan diet. The marinated olives are exceptional and the Garlic and rosemary bread was simply amazing. I'm a big fan of rosemary and this was used as a theme throughout the meal.

The main was a take on a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Using portobello mushrooms. And an Arugula salad. The taste was absolutely spot on for me. The flavors danced around my tongue and brought great delight with every bite. The fries that accompanied were also infused with rosemary which really enhances the flavor. The portions were large enough to stop me ordering dessert although next time I may sacrifice the starters to sample the dessert. £45 for two people for an exceptional lunch for me is a reasonable cost. To sit in a perfect atmosphere with attentive staff and great food.

I will be back. I have the rest of the...

We had a disappointing experience with being seated in a place to receive cold drafts from outside then after moving table we waitied nearly an hour for our main course allthough our garlic bread started arrived pretty quickly. When the food did arrive we had to send the half chicken back which looked like a rib gone wrong. Even the manager was disappointed both the chaef and waiter felt it was OK to serve this :( The food was tasty like the garlic bread and turkey burger, sea bass. for example. However I would not recommend the chilli prawn linguine (which I why I chose to eat here) it was so spicy (I was told by the manager they had a new menu as were experiencing some hiccups )that the manager sent it back and the next iteration arrived with not much flavour even though it had harissa in it. The small kick of chilli was missing and much needed. Overall we felt the service was pretty shabby to be honest no explanations about our main course being delayed and my parents felt a little neglected. I don't often take them out for lunch so was disappointed to have this experience. I appreciate the manager offering a discount on the bill but it was already too...

Wildwood is a restaurant I'd definitely reccomend. On the main shopping streets of liverpool. It looks like its a repurposed entrance to a shopping centre. Nestled between a host of other cafes etc. It looks like a fairly new establishment, or one that has been heavily refurbished. Everything was clean tidy and new. The menu was classic Italian dishes with a host of drinks and cocktails on offer. We got there jsut after 6pm just time time for the 2for1 cocktails, which I think was all weekdays. I had cheese mozzarella garlic bread which was great. The caramelized onions cooked jsut right.I then had the tagliatelle and meatballs which was excellent. Then the wildwood sunday to finish. I would highly recommend the food. Infact it was so good i forgot to take a photo, as I was too busy eating it! Everything was cooked just right and arrived promptly. Our servers were friendly, polite and quick, easily dealing with our mixed cocktail requests. Our server Suzzy was excellent. finally you can also use a taste card, So with the drinks deal and the card. We saved over 25quid.

Well-presented restaurant with well-presented staff and good service. I came to this restaurant hoping for a wonderful meal having worked in Liverpool but left disappointed with the food. I ordered a wine, but unfortunately my meal came before the wine. This was not a major issue at all as the Carbonara didn’t take too long to make….The main issue was the Carbonara. Unfortunately it was bland, and tasteless. It was honestly the worst Carbonara I’ve ever had, so much so, I did not finish it. However, the wine was ace! I informed the member of staff who was very apologetic and listened to my concerns and could resonate. I was informed that kitchen staff members often change and this maybe the issue ? Which is a real shame as this place could do so well, but unfortunately this Carbonara was a let down. Hopefully it is a one off and just me. Despite this, the FOH staff team seemed to deal with the situation well and was attentive.
