Excellent pizza, under a tenner for wood fired generously topped napolitana style (most of them around £7-8). Easily on a par with the other popular authentic pizza company who originated down the road who's name rhymes with manco franka. This restaurant is pretty small though so can get busy quickly. Service was friendly and attentive even though it was quite busy. Has baby high chairs which was handy. Don't think there's a baby change though (might be wrong but didn't spot it).

Really nice authentic Italian clay over pizzas. Went with my family and it seems a real family favourite as we saw many other families at the time. Good range of choices and staff very friendly when we did go. It's located v close to Herne hill station so not much chance of parking close by - but then again perfect for public transport links. Lovely view of the park from the edge of restaurant. It's also lovely and warm in winter.

Small & cozy restaurant and you can see the pizza being made! I think it’s ideally for small parties but the food was delicious, our server was very nice, and we received our food after ordering pretty fast :) We didn’t do this but there’s a park right across the restaurant and I think it’d be cute to order a pizza and eat it at the part too

I placed and paid for my order; they did not deliver.

We were late putting the children to bed one night, and feeling very tired, so we agreed on ordering a delivery for dinner. A friend had recommended this place, so we gave it a go.

The pizza options for vegetarians seemed very limited, with no option to amend any of the toppings, but my wife was keen so I settled for a margherita. It wasn’t cheap, but we knew the prices before ordering.

It wasn’t until after placing (and paying for) the order that I was notified that our pizzas would take an hour to deliver. I found this surprising, as we live just a three minute walk away, and when I drive past it on the way home from work it takes about thirty seconds in a vehicle. Still, we were hungry and tired, and in any case I had already ordered and paid now. I received a confirmation message telling me to sit back and wait for my pizza.

As the clock ticked past 10pm we were feeling incredibly hungry by now, and it had been over an hour, so my wife suggested that we phone up and see if we could check on the progress of the order. At this point I now discovered that later in the evening they had sent another message saying that they would not be delivering to us after all tonight, but instead we would get a refund at some later point (I actually got my money back the following day). By now it was far too late to wait another hour if placing a fresh order from somewhere else from scratch, so we ended up having beans on toast then going to bed.

If they had simply been unable to deliver (because they were too busy or something) then fair enough, but they actually went so far as to take my order and my money, and even then send me a conformation message saying that my order was on the way, before seemingly changing their minds later on. Consequently, they’ve managed to lose a customer without even getting a penny out of me in the end, which is...

I have been them customer for almost 3 years and unfortunately them service now became ridiculous. Last order I never got my pizzas as the driver couldn’t find my place. They promised me a full refund (I got by hungry house) and same order for free on the following day but when I called them they told me I misunderstood (I am italian too and I couldn’t misunderstood my language when the lady told me “tomorrow we will send the same order for free just for the inconvenience”. Good pizzas but service is awful, never...

The waiter was very nice, the food got served rapidly and we can see from the tables the pizzas getting cooked which is so fun! the place is very cozy, which I think is better because you get to talk and hear what the person you’re eating with is saying, and you don’t feel rushed. The garlic bread was more of a pizza with garlic on it, which I didn’t love, I expected real bread, but maybe that’s another recipe that I didn’t know about, so it was still interesting to see...
