Abbey Cafe — Restaurant in London

This is a very little café and I thought probably living off the rumour that The Beatles used to come here. The lady in attendance was cold and laconic. Not so the croissants that came off the oven. In this, I was lucky. I had a plain one and ordered a second this time an almond croissant. Both were the best I've tasted in a long time. The almond wasn't as good as those I had at Valerie's decades ago, unsurprisingly. The tea didn't come in a tea pot, which was disappointing.

Dirty shop, very unpleasant (even nasty) attitude from the she-devil behind the service counter. I am a weary traveler who just needed some coffee. Since she clearly didn’t want my money, I exited and found yugen cafe next door. Boy was I happy she was rude. The place next door is clean, spacious had amazing coffee and pastries and a beautiful terrace upstairs where I could enjoy fresh air, my drink and snack as well as a pleasant view. Awful place, owners were rude and arrogant to all the customers. The one with curly hair turned off the light while I used the bathroom and I had to pull up my trousers in the dark and go outside to ask for it to be switched on again, which she didn't apologise for.
