Pizza tasted horrible and bitter and almost all the ingredients of the pizza were quite rancid in taste. They might have added way too much yeast on the dough which resulted in flavour to be bitter and rancid and that overpowered the cheese, pepperoni, sausages, ham and what not.
Ben and Jerry Ice-cream bar. The gentleman who mentioned it was his very first day at work. Honest to god, he served me the tiniest scoop of ice cream I have ever seen in my entire 36 years of life. It was a costliest scoop I've ever tested. He literally scraped a scoop on the tub, which was literally the size of the marble.
This goes to show the lack of training and supervision provided to someone who has only started his first ever shift.
We paid the huge amount of money for family of Six at Chessington. Also paid fortune(relative) on the ice-cream £20 and £100 at pizza buffet. Please please fix your Pizza recipe, the most horrible and expensive pizza slice we ever tasted. Out of my family members, only I had a upset tummy (visited loo four times).
We were still hungry after the lunch and thirst unquenched after devouring a marble sized ice-cream
This is unacceptable, bad service, untrained staff and simply not a well run park in terms of hospitality. All of them stores (restaurant + slush + ice-cream+ burger + ice-cream bar) had young dograpmich employed. I wonder whether someone experienced personnel is available at the deck to supervise and do a spot check on them.
FYI - I was served a warm liquid slush on a warm day (35 degrees) and charged me £20~ for four slush drinks. I immediately chucked them away.
Please sort this out. Staff must be accountable to do their job properly and management...
Read moreLiterally the worst food experience I have ever had and would never recommend it.
We only went there because it was the only halal place we could find in Chessington (ie the vegetarian option), but we paid more than £22 per adult and nearly £13 for our four year old daughter. The total came to nearly £60, which was ridiculous considering there were only two items on the menu (not counting the salad, garlic bread and drink, since salads and garlic breads are usually free in many pizza places). The were no chips nor any other sides; for that price they should have added some sides.
For £60, at Jimmy's O2 we get about hundred items. Considering this was a buffet, surely they could have offered a few more items or just don't charge so much. Spending that much for only two items just was not worth it, expecially considering the food was rubbish; if I wasn't hungry I wouldn't have touched that food. To be fair, it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't eat it even when I am hungry. The pasta was awful and the pizza was trailing behind Domino's and Pizza Hut, or any local place for that matter. If you're gonna charge so much, then at least make your food worth the asking price.
Would strongly recommend against this place. Next time we will just take a packed lunch if halal options...
Read moreI would give this 0 stars if I could. The price we paid for what we got, it was absolutely horrible! Pizza's were like cheap value for money supermarket standards... Hard as rock base, cheese was burned, salad was rotton. We paid £45 and all's me and my children ate were a few slices of garlic bread which was bland and some disgusting cheese pizza. The WHOLE restaurant was covered in fruit flies, EVERYWHERE around all the salad and hot food. Nothing was clean. I noticed two waitress staff chatting to each other for a while... Yes we arrived towards the end of the opening hours but I felt rather than them standing round chatting for 10 mintues they could have been productive and clean the tables after people used them. It didn't set a very good impression of the place, it was like they had no pride in the place and no wonder it was swarming with flies. No choice of drinks for young children other than Fanta still, I had to ask for tap water. This place needs to be inspected, not what I would expect from Chessington World of Adventures considering how spectacular the food at the hotel...
