I recently had the pleasure of dining at Andy's Greek Restaurant in Camden, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. The food, service, and vibe were all great.

Too good not to do a review. I'm surprised that no one has claimed this business yet. I found this on Yelp with only 2 reviews who gave a 5 star. The skeptic in me decided to investigate and this place is indeed a gem!

The place is small, enough to have 6 pax but that's provided if you make an early booking. We were lucky cause we walked in and managed to get seats for 3 near the kitchen area. Wasn't too obstructive but if had it been 4 pax, that would have been slightly uncomfortable.

Very accommodative staffs, friendly and not to mention attentive. Kept asking if we needed to refill the pitta bread and Greek salads, could have just had those for dinner instead of the mains. Ordering was quick, food arrived nice and hot, not to mention amazing. If you like home cooked Greek food, I would reckon that this restaurant is THE place to swing by. It's not a quiet restaurant so don't expect it to be a quiet night.

What we ordered: Chicken Kebab Khleftiko - Baked Lamb (must try) Afelio - Tendered marinated pork with roasted potatoes (must try)

Both khleftiko and afelio were really nice and juicy. Super tender and the sauces with the carrots and baked potatoes on both dishes were really nicely done. Paired this with a bottle of house wine, made it the dinner a lot more enjoyable. Portions for the meal is incredibly generous for what you pay. If was more than a good meal, lined our intestines before we went out for a night of drinking.

We stumbled upon this Absolute 💎 Gem. Walking past there were many people dining outside on the seating area. Looking for somewhere to eat and with time running out as the local car park was closing we asked what is the current time for service. We were greeted with a friendly smile and welcomed in and was told we would be looked after. We ordered the sharing menu and with in no time our 1st course was with us. After speaking to the gentleman who greeted us at the door we soon came to realise he was the owner of this fine restaurant - Pablo or more commonly known as Andy!! ….. we spoke briefly whilst he was very busily working and speaking with other customers as he scurried around. Our next course arrived and it was a mixed platter of Greek meat…. No words except wow 😮 the flavour that came from this dish, the lamb, sausage, chicken, pork and beef was very impressive. It was cooked to perfection. If you are visiting Camden yes you have many street food and a varied choice of food eateries and restaurants but please take the time out of the market area and head to Andy’s Greek Taverna……

1st Class Service 1st Class Food 1st Class Atmosphere And the price well I couldn’t believe our bill was so low after the food we had just eaten.
