One of my absolute favourite places to eat, amazing pizza. The pizza chef is consistently perfect. You get a feel of eating real Italian pizza in this restaurant.
Situated on Pratt street which is opposite the Blues Kitchen if you are standing on Camden main road. I think the nearest underground is Mornington Crescent, but it’s not far from Camden station either, It stands out because of its classy vibe which is very different to everything around it. These guys have been going for over nine years now and has weathered the COVID storm. The owner Marcello is such a great guy who will make you feel at home the moment you book or walk in.
Admittedly I have not tried anything else on the menu as yet but I will do and will add that to the review but this write up is based on my numerous previous visits and the consistent good service and food.
They have a well stocked bar and Peroni beer on tap. The interior of this place is really nice but if you are brave enough to sit outside in the winter and you can just watch the world drive by.
One good thing about this restaurant is if it’s your birthday you can get a free meal if with a party of two and above, drinks not included of course. Pop in and mention my name and show the Google review and you might get a discount. Let me know...

The menu at Il Sugo Restaurant features a wide variety of Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, meat, aperitives, and desserts.
The aroma of fresh herbs and simmering sauce greets you at the door, a warm prelude to the vibrant atmosphere. Mouthwatering cicchetti, Italian tapas, tempt you to share and explore, while the house-made pasta beckons with its pillowy perfection. Each bite is a symphony of flavours, the acidity of ripe tomatoes marrying with the sweetness of garlic and the earthy comfort of parmesan.
The service at Il Sugo Restaurant is friendly and attentive. The staff is happy to make recommendations, and they are always willing to answer questions about the menu. Menus had a good choice of items that looked great and a few choices for house wines.
The guy came and took our order. I hope for his sake he's not always so disapproving of all his customers. He gave off such a bad vibe. Thankfully I noticed another female member of the staff who seemed very positive and welcoming. I wish we got her!
After ordering, we got two small pots of prepacked parmesan cheese on the table. After that we weren't really hopeful about the food we would be served. When our pastas did come the sauces were really liquid with pools of water in the plate. Sadly they were really tasteless.
All in all, this is probably the worst "Italian" restaurant I've ever been to. I definitely would recommend it,...
