We stepped in as after few hours in Camden as we needed a pitstop. Not typically huge fans of chicken shops but when checking the reviews, we were seriously surprised at the raving feedback and had to try the place. Saturday noon was busy and to be honest the tables were packed and the floor messy however few minutes after we sat down a busy employee rushed and cleared the tables and floor. Good start. The atmosphere was relaxing and grabbing a table next to the windows allowed us to rest while waiting for food. Orders were taken on self serving terminals without a problem. We tried the regular and dynasty BBQ burger meals. Two fast food meals at £26 is not cheap but if no one complained till now, there had to be a good reason... We got a beeper and 6 minutes later the food was served to our table. The food, despite typical fast food delivery wrapping and style, was finger licking good. With VERY generous fries portion and refill drinks (note to Shake, Five and other fast food.. this is how you do it!) The chicken was indeed cooked to perfection and offered one of the best fast food sandwiches experience we ever had. Just before we finished, Rohan, one of the employees popped to ask if we enjoyed the food (we sure did) and mind leaving feedback on Google maps. with more then 2500 raving feedbacks, I doubt they need mine but this place well deserved praises. As fast food goes, this is a great recommended option. Extras: Toilet, Free WiFi and Electric plus and USB charging sockets. What else can you ask for while in Camden. Give it a try!

I recently visited Chicken Shop and had a fantastic experience that deserves a solid four-star rating. The burgers and fries were absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and truly a treat for the taste buds. What impressed me the most was the minimal waiting time; they served up deliciousness with efficiency. The customer service at Chicken Shop was top-notch. The team members were not only efficient but also incredibly friendly. Their positive attitude added to the overall dining experience, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. It's always refreshing to encounter a team that genuinely cares about their patrons. I appreciate the attention to quality in the food – each bite was a testament to the care taken in preparing it. The flavors were well-balanced, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. The burgers were juicy, and the fries were the perfect crispy complement. While I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend Chicken Shop, I reserve the fifth star for truly exceptional experiences. Nonetheless, this establishment has earned my trust, and I look forward to returning for another delightful meal. Keep up the great work!

I visited the Chicken Shop in Camden Town with a friend and we ordered the Chicken Deluxe Meal, which includes a burger and a drink. We chose the tender chicken with hot sauce and a portion of regular fries. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous, although the tender chicken felt slightly on the pricier side. I would also like to comment on the excellent service. Rahman, the staff member who assisted us, was incredibly helpful and made sure we received our 20% student discount. His customer service was outstanding and really added to our experience. Overall, a great visit: delicious food, good portions, and excellent service. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again.

As my daughter said: "What did you expect"?"

I don't often visit fast food restaurants, but I've gone past this place a zillion times on the bus and, well chicken wings can be good, and this is purporting to be a few cuts above KFC and other such places, so why not give it a go?

Now let's talk about chickens. We do eat most of the animal (vegans look away now) and the bits with the most taste are the wings and thighs. Wings really should be up there with the most flavoursome parts of this bird.

Sadly, here, the wings lacked any real taste at all. The rich umami of succulent flesh was absent. The wings weren't overcooked or undercooked, just bland; any flavour came from the underseasoned coating and the gloopy sauces, which were OK, but as a result were 100% of the taste sensation.

The coleslaw was bereft of pizzazz. Again rather bland. Hint to chef. Try salting the cabbage before making it.

Strangely the cheese on the cheesy fries was also a festival of understated cheesiness.

I think what has happened here is that somebody, possibly in Marketing, has said "We've got lots of spicy sauces. We don't need flavoursome food to go with it." But there are numerous elements to taste and flavour and spiciness is just one of them. Good spicing does not mask the underlying flavour of food, it enhances it.

I tried this restaurant hoping that it would be a pleasant...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Chicken Shop in Camden Town, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

First and foremost, the ambiance of this place is spot on. It exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal with friends and family.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the chicken. The Chicken Shop takes a simple concept and executes it to perfection. Their fried chicken is nothing short of mouthwatering. It's cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin that gives way to tender, juicy meat. The flavor is rich and savory, and it's clear that they take great care in sourcing high-quality poultry.

The menu is refreshingly uncomplicated, which is a testament to their focus on doing one thing exceptionally well.

The service at the Chicken Shop is friendly and efficient. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and can offer recommendations based on your preferences. It's evident that they take pride in providing a top-notch dining experience.

Whether you're a local or just passing through Camden Town, the Chicken Shop is a must-visit. It's a place where the simple pleasure of enjoying perfectly cooked fried chicken takes center stage. So, if you're in the mood for delicious comfort food served in a cozy setting, make your way to the Chicken Shop. You won't be...
