We found this place after searching on Google. Was very pleasantly surprised ☺️ As soon as we entered we were greeted by the lovely bar staff. The ambience here is very nice, gave me a similar memory of being a child and going to the pubs with my grandparents. Very quaint and full of lovely plants and fresh flowers. Music was good. The roast beef and lamb were perfectly cooked, food was full of flavour & portion sizes were generous 😋 But for us what made this place so lovely were the staff, they were so friendly & constantly checked to make sure we were ok. Had some lovely lil chats. Apparently the place was taken over a year ago by the now owner who is a nice young guy, who can't do enough to make sure you have a nice experience. Will defo come back and bring the whole family next time

I felt obliged to write this based on pubs reopening in the height of Covid-19. Most pubs in the area are taking little to none precautions and I have no idea why. Surely making your customers feel safe should be not only a priority but good for your business? Anyway, I've made two visits to the Anglesey Arms this week and staff were absolutely brilliant in socialy distancing customers, providing a sign-in book and hand sanitizer gel everywhere and they were constantly cleaning tables and chairs. Good on them for taking care of their customers and neighbourhood. Also, bloody lovely people behind the jump with a good selection of beers on offer. The garden is very nicely kept and is the perfect sun trap at the end of a busy working day. Well done guys! 👍

We popped in to check out the pub on behalf of family who will be staying close by from Australia soon. They wanted to know what the local pub was like...of course they do their Australian! We walked up and were immediately greeted with a hello from a young male who asked if we were eating or just drinking. He explained that they were having work done in the garden so it might be a little dusty but we were welcome to use it. As we took our drinks through I spied the roast dinner which looked delicious and will definitely be back to try them soon. The whole vibe of the pub was really friendly and so welcoming. As for my family coming over in July. We gave the pub a bug thumbs up. They will be regulars for their month stay in the UK

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Anglesey Arms in Bromley, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Piers and his team went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable visit. The service was impeccable, with every staff member being attentive and friendly.

We had the roast dinners, which were absolutely delicious. The meat was tender, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. To complement our meal, we enjoyed some prosecco and Cruzcampo, which added a delightful touch to our dining experience.

Overall, the Anglesey Arms offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to...
