I have visited Grounded Brothers 5 times since they have opened. I would say it has quite a cafe bar vibe and they are now open for longer and building their menu so do keep checking back if you have previously seen them closed. They are a relatively new business that are situated where yum yums was, in the railway concourse. I've eaten their Sunday roast dinners twice, off their brunch menu three times and tried most of their drinks menu including the smoothies and milkshakes. The staff are friendly, this place can get quite busy and I sometimes book in busier times via instagram or call in to ensure I can get a table. When it's busier, it may be best to go to the counter to place extra orders for drinks and desserts rather than waiting for table service. Food orders are prepared fresh and I really like the flavours used in the dishes for the brunch menu. The smashed avocado has a nice lemony zing with fresh coriander and side salads have always been fresh. I preferred the toasted ciabatta and 'from the ground' breakfast over the cooked lunches but I'm looking forward to trying their evening menu when they extend their opening hours. The kitchen will alter dishes to accommodate for taste preferences. The coffee is nice, they offer protein shakes and takeaway food which is popular with the local post office and commuters. There is also a small selection of alcohol, perfect for a Saturday brunch while shopping in Bromley.

6* Came for Sunday lunch with my wife. Reserved a table beforehand. The only negative I could give is not against the restaurant but against myself for not having come here sooner. This place is fantastic. Located at Bromley North station with an entrance on the the side of the building, it's a relaxed, smart, modern place. Not huge but not small either, booking would probably be recommended for Sunday lunch or evening dining but they might have a table free should you just turn up. The menu is small but very enticing with a good range of dishes. The food was seriously high quality. We had starters and mains. The lobster risotto and squid starters were gorgeous. The main Sunday roasts of beef and fish were equally amazing. Service was top notch, friendly, helpful and attentive. Prices were extremely reasonable considering the high quality of the food. We had a bottle of American Chardonnay which really hit the spot. This is definitely a restaurant to check out, honestly a contender for the best restaurant in Bromley and up amongst the best of London. I wish I had visited before and will most definitely visit again. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

I visited here with my boyfriend on Friday night and had the most amazing evening. As a birthday treat we had a 2 course dinner which blew us both away. The menu isn’t huge but it doesn’t need to be as the flavours make up for that! The staff were amazing often stopping and chatting and we had some lovely cocktails (one which was actually made off menu) and wine to accommodate our beautiful dinner. We were so full we couldn’t manage dessert but we will be back in December with family to go for round 2 and to try the roast dinner! I don’t usually take pictures of the food - I didn’t with my starter (lobster risotto) but did with my sirloin which I’ve attached for reference. If you want something a bit different that isn’t just a restaurant chain and is family run - I couldn’t recommend this place more. Great vibe, beautiful food and service with a smile that doesn’t break the bank. See you again soon!

Had a fantastic dinner at Grounded Brothers this evening. Completely understand why they’re rated so highly!

We started with all the starters as we couldn’t choose between them. All three were excellent - my wife loved the calamari (she’s from Sardinia who know a thing or two about cooking fresh calamari and rates it right up there in terms of taste, texture and tenderness). My favourite was the beef tartare that had charcoal roasted onions within - made such a delicate, sweet difference.

My wife had the agnellotti (a type of ravioli) with wild garlic and sage for mains which was delicious. I had the rump steak and chips with a rich, fresh peppercorn sauce - again, so so good.

Danny (the owner) recommended a fantastic red wine from Puglia which accompanied the food well. Both he and Rob (the head chef) know exactly what they’re doing. Small number of options but done so well and elegantly - I can totally see a restaurant like this getting a Michelin star in the future.

An absolute find - we’ve already booked for their next available tasting menu...
