This place is exceptional. We have been visiting for many years travelling over 100 miles to eat there each time! The staff haven’t changed for years and thank goodness, they are superb!
There is never any pressure, hassle or issue. The food is just delightful, we have to work out what we aren’t going to eat when we visit rather than what to order it’s all so great! The team know allergies inside out and are rock solid which is very reassuring.
Please try whatever is on their special list no matter how out of your comfort zone it might be, it will not disappoint. The ox heart skewers (plus the sweetcorn relish) was such a treat). Their chimichurri is perfect, not too spicy but still lively, why they don’t bottle it is a mystery to me. Wine is a very reasonable price and perfectly matched to their food.
We have always been made to feel so welcome each and every time we have visited. I cannot recommend this place and the team that work there highly enough.

So many places here in Tooting market come and go, and those that put emphasis on food quality, in order to survive and maintain quality need to make compromises. Those who do not get it are pure ignorant. All these reviews complaining about a 90 minute table time, rushed service, small space, 12.5% service charge blah blah blah. Don’t like it- go to, hawksmoore! (Which is also great btw) You will be pampered beyond, have a great steak and pay £150 a head.(+15% service charge) The quality of the food, the passion behind every dish, the value for money is unparalleled. I have been here many many times and never had a bad meal, brought my friends and they loved it too. Do yourself a favour and get in the less known part of Tooting Broadway market, grab a cosy table in Barra 10 and let yourself enjoy some amazing Argentinian food along with the most sweet and attentive service, honest and smiley. We are really so glad we found this place!! We had the ox cheek croquettes with a super velvet mayo on the side which were absolutely delicious, the costillas beef ribs which were so tender and mellow, the empanadas with beef with a beautiful dough, the special steak cooked to perfection, one of the best corns on the cob of our lives topped with goat cheese and chilly flakes and the chocotorta as a dessert which was super indulgent! We do dine out very often and this is one of the best early dinners we had for a long long time in London! It’s a shame that this place and in general the market is not marketed more so people come and see what these people have created with all their hearts; unique and true!
