Basilico East Sheen — Restaurant in London

This evening my Mum and I ordered two pizzas and two garlic pizza breads from here. This set us back a hefty £45ish, but I am gf and am used to my orders being more, and thought maybe the price would be worth it for good quality, open-fire pizzas. I couldn't be more wrong. The crust on my gf pizza was so hard that, no joke, it has cut my mouth. It was by no means the tastiest gf base I've eaten either. The garlic pizza breads were also awful. There was almost no garlic on them that anyone could taste, they were also hard and over-cooked and the surface looked burnt in many places. My mum said it tasted burnt as well. The cheesey one was marginally better but I guess only because the addition of melted cheese made it less dry. For the price of these pizzas I would expect something better quality. This was my first, and definitely last, order...

Do yourself a favour and do not order from here! Absolutely atrocious customer service. The company accidentally charged our card twice, then when calling to ask for a refund, despite giving evidence and allowing the company to investigate for a week, the Managing Director called and said "I run a 6 million pound a year business, I cant just dish out refunds to everyone who drinks too much on a Friday night and cant remember their order or cant give out card details"

I understand being skeptical of my refund request but assassinating my character over what would be a small amount of money to a "£6 million a year" business is absolutely atrocious. What a shame about the poor customer service, the pizza was pretty decent. Just the worst. All you have to do is look at the number of one star reviews and decide to order...

Order was 20 minutes late, the man on the phone was extremely rude and said was we were lucky that my order was 20 minutes late as others were 35 minutes late. He then informed me that my order wasn’t even in the oven, when it said on the app it was arriving soon. The way I was spoke to was horrible, screaming down the phone abuse. They’ve also lied and I never received any food as he said he was cancelling it over the phone so I am outraged that I’ve had to pay for food I never received. He wouldn’t let me cancel it through the app as he kept it on arriving for hours. I can’t stress enough how upset I am that I have had to pay for food I didn’t even receive and just verbal abuse instead. This was on Friday 15th...
