Bear + Wolf Cafe — Restaurant in London

I live close-by and used to come here regularly for coffee, will never be returning again and I know others in our community that have also had rude encounters at this local coffee shop unfortunately.

I cycled there today around 16:20 to pick up a coffee, I walked in and nobody was around, two people sitting outside smoking were watching me without saying anything, eventually I went back outside and it turned out these people were the staff!

They looked at me like I was an alien and mumbled 'its closed'

I mentioned that it was usually open till 5 on Sundays and showed them it on Google; they replied that they haven't got around to changing it for 'summer hours' and despite me telling them I had cycled over, they started laughing (not funny). Could of atleast made one last coffee considering it was there fault they had not changed Google and were both still there, chilling! The grim characters certainly appeared in need of the exercise - lazy so and so's, would hate to know the hygeine standards here if they cannot even do the fundamentals of having the correct opening hours available to customers, they could have done it whilst sitting outside chuffing away it is not a hideously onerous task.

I will be visiting The Fields store for coffee in future and recommend the rest of Tufnell Park do the same, Support local businesses that support the local...

Really really disappointed, ordered a milkshake it taste like cheese. Took it back and they pulled the milk out the fridge to check and it looked like cottage cheese, it was definitely off. They made me a new one but by the time that arrived I was already starting to feel quite sick. I tried the new one they made but it was equally disgusting and tasted off, this then made me throw up. I took it back for a juice but still feeling unwell. I also ordered an expensive bacon and egg sandwich and it wasn’t nice at all. Burnt brioche salty bacon and poor quality egg was almost a clear yellow. Couldn’t finish it even if it was good as my stomach is too upset from the bad milk. The food is fine. But I’m writing this review because I just watched an employee in an “I love Australia” shirt roll and lick her own cigarette behind the counter and then proceed to make a coffee order and help with a food order without washing her hands. Then moments later another employee in a Britney Spears shirt was eating behind the counter and licking her fingers before helping make an order. Again without washing her hands. (I include the description of what they were wearing in hopes that they can be identified and trained on proper food handling) The fact that 2 of the 3 employees I saw in that short time had such unhygienic practices while working with food and drinks is the sole reason I will not...
