Bidder & Co — Restaurant in London

Great atmosphere, comfortable seating. The drink prices seem reasonable (£6-7 for a beer, £11 for a specialty cocktail they made for theme of the convention at ExCel) and are tasty. Service can be slow but only when they’re very visibly busy. The staff is nice and eager to rectify any issues that may occur. You can order off the Bidder & Co bar menu or the extended menu for the other restaurant in the hotel which is great and convenient. The portions are good sizes. Staff is also knowledgeable on dietary restrictions and was able to give me all the info on gluten free options (these could change and aren’t everything they listed but for example: chicken tikka masala without the bread, anything from the grilled meat section, salads without croutons, I think they mentioned having GF buns...

Prices are ridiculous here. I was charged £7.88 for a pint of Stella Artois, and a double gin & tonic was close to £17. It's close to the airport, but drinks would have been cheaper on a plane than here. The food has also been marked up by ~20% compared...

The place is lovely, the food is lovely, the staff are lovely. Honestly, the only issue I have is how expensive it is, but this IS London, so it is to be expected....
