Blend Bar & Grill Bexleyheath — Restaurant in London

My daughter booked this venue for her 30th birthday. She booked 4wks in advance with a deposit of £10 per person. The booking was for 18 people and she was assured they could manage large groups. She told them there would be 4 children and was told they would have to leave the restaurant at 9pm. The table was booked for 7.30. We arrived at 7.20 but the table wasn't ready. We sat down and decided to order the children's meals first as they'd had to leave early. We ordered their meals and their parents ordered too, this was at 7.50. The children's meals were served at 8.10 with no sign of their parents meals. The waitress took the food orders and went. We had ordered drinks on sitting down but they hadn't been brought. 3 of our party went to the bar to get them. 6 of our party had ordered starters, they hadn't arrived either. We asked a waitress why the food hadn't came and she said it was on the way. At 9pm only the children had, had food. Their parents hadn't eaten. I then asked to speak to the manager. She accepted the service was unacceptable and assured me she would sort it out. By 9.40, no food had arrived. The children's parents decided to leave without eating, another 3 of the party left too. My daughter was so upset and embarrassed. She again asked for the manager who assured us that the food was then ready, my daughters 2 friends had the wrong food, my daughter, sister in law and another friend didn't get any at all, apparently it hadn't been ordered, 3 plates of food were brought that no one had ordered!!! At this point, 10.40 we told the manager we were leaving. What should have been a lovely family and friends meal, was in fact a complete shambles!!! Absolutely disgusted and wouldn't recommend...

On 25th of February I went to Blend with my friend. I was looking for a venue for a stag party for group of 11 guys. I wanted to see the place, feel the vibe, try a drink and if happy, book it for the special night. It was evening - about 9pm more or less. It was crowded but not too busy I would say. I liked the place, so I decided I will later inquire for stag night booking. Unfortunately, things went wrong, as I was not even able to order a simple drink. I was waiting at the bar to place my order for about 20-25 minutes. All I wanted was to order a simple bottle of beer. I was never that patient anywhere. There were two bar men behind the bar and a lady serving more at the dining area, but coming behind the bar regularly. The bar men saw me waiting, one even said to me "just a moment", but as I said, that "moment" lasted over 20 minutes. 20 or 25 minutes standing at the bar with cash in my hands, waiting to be served, seen by barmen but ignored and constantly put on a back burner; To sum up bar men decided to ignore me and serve anybody else but me and my friend. So, after 20-25 minutes I simply left the place, and decided this is not a good place for the stag night I was going...

Food was amazing 5 stars and the waiter was very polite, but the overall service was dreadful and ruined our evening it was suppose to be a special meal for us all to get out of the house during covid but the service let them down massively never got offered more drinks and waiting 20 mins then ask for our table to be cleared then had to ask for desert menus after waiting another 15 mins then took 15 mins to get someone back to take the order then again more waiting for the bill everytime having to be prompt. They was busy and only 2 member of staff on the floor but we had 4 young kids with us and sat at 5:30 to try and escape before the rush but no chance it might of been that people normally want a slow meal but with 3 young kids we just...
