Such a bad behaviour of staff. I often order food from this restaurant. The quality of food is not too bad. I order food from uber eats and its come out good. But today I called to the restaurant to collect my order by person, but they don't understand what I want to order or they just pretend they don't understand. After i have repeated my order for couple of times I asked how much I will have to pay, they say £45. In online, it was showing £29. I said to them that in uber eats, it is showing £29, how come it will be £45. They then said in uber eats they are giving discount. But after discount it will be £24. I was telling them the price before discount which is £29. But they don't want to understand, they just keep saying i have to pay £45. Anyways, I gave up and tell them that I am going to order through uber eats. Then I ordered and my husband went to pick up the order. When he entered to the restaurant, one of their staff said to him that you are not supposed to come through this way. Go to the back, she behaved so rudely. My husband was getting so angry. Because he was going for the first time to collect the order and was surprised how they behaved to the customer. I recently placed an order through Uber Eats (Order No. 2D1A9) from Base Camp Lounge Restaurant, which was running a "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" promotion on Lamb Biryani. I ordered two Lamb Biryanis, expecting four as per the promotion. However, I only received two biryanis in the delivery.
Initially, I decided not to raise the issue directly with Uber, as I’ve been a loyal customer with over 12 orders through Uber and Deliveroo. Instead, I called the restaurant to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the manager, Raj, who answered the call, was dismissive and unprofessional(Dumb).
He repeatedly insisted that I only paid for two biryanis and therefore, only two were delivered. Despite being aware of the promotion, he completely disregarded my explanation and kept focusing on the amount paid instead of honoring the promotion.
When I reminded him about the "Buy 1 Get 1" offer, he told me to take it up with Uber and rudely hung up on me.
Thankfully, Uber provided a full refund, but my main concern is how someone so impatient and rude can work in the hospitality industry. This isn't a reflection on the restaurant's food, but management really needs to train staff on basic customer service. Highly...

The manager lied to us that the order has been picked up 2 hours ago. And my husband was there when the guys picked up the order in front of my hubby at the restaurant 2 hours later. My hubby went to check what the issue was. THEY LIED. I have proof with all the Chats with the Deliveroo agents and the Driver himself who dropped the food mentioned that they did not pick it up 2 hours ago. They just picked up 15 mins ago.
