Cuore — Restaurant in London

It happened by chance to be here around one day in December with the family. The place, which seems a small simple Italian bar, gives you an incredible feeling of family environment, clean and very welcoming. Few seats, managed by a young couple, real Italian one, both enthusiastic about their work and both personally cook in their kitchen. They have a simple menu, but offer pleasant delicacies, complete and real Italian ones. After the first time just for a proper Espresso tasting, I have been again and again, in January, February and March, any time I was in UK, during the day at breakfast, lunch and so on, to try away delicious appetizers, wonderful (strictly homemade) pasta, nice panini and excellent homemade desserts. The prices also are absolute honest for the quality of ingredients offered and way they are cooked. In short, it is a nice sweet surprise, that absolutely deserves to be replied. I am shocked at the service received today! I decided to visit Curore today as I’ve driven past it a few times and was shocked and appalled at the level of service received. I arrived at the restaurant around 332 fully aware the kitchen closes at 4pm. I was approached by a woman behind the counter, she informed me they close at 4pm and I told her that’s fine. She then proceeded to condescendingly tell me I would not have enough time and what do I want to order without even offering me a menu!! I asked how long it would take to prepare food and she said 20 minutes and she alluded that there was no point in ordering even though the kitchen was still open. The whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and I just left. I found the short experience distasteful and upsetting as I had really been looking forward to trying the place out and am a big advocate of supporting local businesses but in this instance would advise family and friends...

I am livid and appalled by the service I received today. I have been looking forward to Cuore for a while and was excited when I finally had time to visit. We drove from far and got there at 3.32pm due to traffic. We were welcomed with the coldest welcome ever . I could feel the cold draft from the waitress. The first statement the waitress made was we close at 4pm and it will take 20 mins to make your food so will you be done eating in 5 mins as you need to be out at 4pm, unbelievable!. HOW RUDE. I appreciate the tight schedule however the response and approach could be better managed.

I am all for supporting small businesses but avoid this establishment like a plague. Restaurants are today trying to keep customers and their doors open and then you have someone that is oblivious about the pain and effort to start up a business want to run it down with bad...
