It’s a shame cause the pub looks really good but the security and owner there are ego driven c#nts. Unjustifiable idiots. Wouldn’t let me in cause I kicked a solid bin well outside of the pub out of frustration of forgetting my I’d (so they wouldn’t let me in eventhough I’m obviously overage 21). So they wouldn’t let me in when I got back. I was sincerely apologising to the owner/ security guards an all they did was rub in my face how they weren’t now letting me in then started shouting at my friend for stepping outside with a drink. Honestly I’m not your average John England piss head. These are very nasty ppl with no courtesy or emotion towards others. Much better pubs around Bexleyheath. Don’t waste your precious time in this tasteless place. The foods not so good too but this reviews...

Don’t bother coming here if you are over 18. It’s ridiculous. I was after a late pint on my way home from physio only to be told by the grizzlies on the door that I needed ID - I laughed obviously as I am 57 and need a crutch at the moment to get about. Got told some story about Bexley council insisting that all patrons entering the premises must have a passport/ driver’s licence to gain entry?!?!?! . Younger people arriving after me just said to the “security “ that they had already been in - no questions asked.

Great service at bar, staff really attentive during busy periods. During the night I was there a glass was smashed onto the dance floor and although I witnessed a member of staff walking past the broken pieces of glass, it took over 15 minutes to be cleared during a busy Friday night, and it only got cleared due to the security guard flagging it. Whilst the glass was being cleared, one of the clientelle fell onto the floor on top of the glass clearly over intoxicated. A higher level of duty of care and awareness needs to be given by the staff to the members of public that attend this establishment in order to provide a safe and enjoyable...
