Recently attended here for a anniversary meal. The decor is quaint and cosy and has a very sea side Mediterranean feel which is nice. The staff are polite, friendly and offer good table service (you would like to think this is a must considering they add a service charge).

The food it's self is expensive, I had the seared scallops for starters with garlic bread, and half a Lobster and burger for the main. I personally wasn't impressed with the scallops. Quite small and not very sweet. The Lobster was drenched in sauce and was also not really to my taste (the meat wasn't sweet and was quite chewy). The burger was ok, but on the small side for my liking with no relish, just pickle and lettuce. That and the sauce from the Lobster ended up seeping in to the bottom bun making it soggy... 😑.

My partner had the Lobster thermidore and that was average.

The chips are also really skinny... So if that's your thing then lucky you.

If I am honest I would rather have spent the £120+ up London at somewhere like Burger and Lobster.

Shame as I love to find local small quiet places that have good food.

In short:

Price 2/5 Quality of food 2/5 Table service 5/5 Decor...

Well presented, overpriced, frozen seafood. Very outdated decorations, it could do with an upgrade. The man who served us was initially pleasant. The flavours are 10/10 on the Surf n Surf.. the tomato sauce on the linguine wasn't as nice, it looked overcooked and had a tang to it, but it's ok. The seafood is not fresh. The lobster meat was a flaky texture and had a slight mushiness to it. One of my prawns was fine but the other one was still partly frozen and the warm part was very mushy. I had to spit it back out on my plate. When I mentioned this at the end the server was very defensive and started making excuses. I clarified I'm just giving feedback and he said "well I did ask if everything was ok". Yes he did - two minutes after giving us our food, before we had a chance to eat anything! I found this rude. He offered to get another prawn cooked to take home. Why would I take home ONE prawn??? We didn't pay service charge and the servers mood had definitely changed. Very unprofessional. The Long Island cocktail...

If I could rate this place 10 stars I would! We came across this place walking from the car park to the Churchill Theatre to see a show last Saturday, and we LOVE seafood so wanted to check it out. The staff quickly seated us, gave us recommendations (we tried snails and loved them!), and went above and beyond for us. Because we were in a little bit of a hurry because of getting to the show, the staff bought out our mains when they were ready rather than waiting until we had finished our starters to make sure we could get to the show on time. We looked at the dessert menu but decided we were too full and didn’t have enough time, however they bought out the most delicious lemon cheesecake for us, on the house. I honestly can’t rate this place highly enough, we don’t live super close but we will 1000% be back soon (we want to try the frogs legs next!)

Thank you so so much for making our night out a night...

Very nice, no one is perfect hence the 4 stars but this place comes close to it. We went there last Monday late afternoon. The food, I cannot fault and believe me we tried varied amounts and could honestly say each plate was as good as it gets, washed down with very crisp dry white wine. The waiter was courteous without being over bearing. Now why have I passed this place a million times and never been in there, wish I could tell you....but now I have discovered it, no going back. Its a hidden gem and will give the seafood Michelin star restaurants a run for their money. Its not cheap but then again not overly expensive. You get what you pay for and for what we had I will say it was worth every penny. Don't change Blue Harbour, just continue being you that's what makes you unique.

Amazed by this find in the centre of Bromley. I always feel like it’s quite difficult to find a good fresh fish restaurant in London and surroundings: they all tend to deep fry everything and that’s annoying. The Blue Harbour offers a good selection of sea delicacy, big enough portions and a lovely service from the staff. We had a warm welcome as soon as we crossed the door and it didn’t stop until we left. The menu offers a good selection of fish as well as shellfish and seafood with an add on of steak for those who also can’t give up meat! Admirable selection of wines too. Overall it’s a bit pricy, however considering the quality of the food and it’s freshness I do think it’s fair. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back for the halibut!!

We discovered this restaurant recently despite living in Chislehurst for the past 9 years. We are very impressed by the quality of the food and the excellent and friendly service. I grew up by the sea and I am very picky with fish and this is always perfect. This is a low key restaurant with food that highly exceed the first impression you could have of this restaurant. Prices are reasonable for fresh fish and the wine list is attractive and well priced. Better than any restaurants in Chislehurst or Bromley (most restaurants in the area are substandard serving frozen ingredients). I definitely recommend. Attached picture of a beautiful Turbot we had yesterday along with mussels marinières as a starter.
