Myself and 2 friends booked here last night. Booked for 8.00, when we arrived it was empty. The last time I visited it was heaving and a great buzzing atmosphere. We were the only people in there at 8.00... Staff very friendly, said "sit were ever you want", so we sat at a nicely laid out table. We were asked for drinks so we selected 3 Cocktails. All which came quick and were very nice. We ordered our starters, and all came very quick. All of us enjoyed the food. The down side of the meal.. The staff take plates away whilst others still eating. My friend was still eating and she was asked 3 times if she had finished.. All the rest of our plates had been removed.. By now there were 2 other covers to serve.. Soon as my friend had finished her plate was taken away, and we were asked if we were ready for our mains.. I asked if we could have 10 minutes please.. Which they did.. By now we were recognising the speed.. Feeling rushed.. I ordered Beef ribs. Told it was 2 large ribs, with lots of meat.. (yumm) I thought... Well.... Not quite so. I was presented with 2 peices of chewy beef, and a bone on the side. The meat had no connection to the bone.... We all got our mains, no body asked while we were eating if our food was OK.. My friend had Nachos which were falling off a small plate, far to small for the amount of nachos.. Which TBH did not present well. When we finished the lady asked if everything was OK, I told I was not happy with Ribs, meat was not on the bone, chewy, and alot of grissle. She said, "sorry about that, I will tell the chef".. My other friend didn't really eat the nachos. I think she had 3 bites and left the rest.. The table was cleared, and we had some more cocktails, we all had the same one, but they were not as nice as the first one... By now we were the the only ones in there, it was 10.30 ish.. We didn't get asked if we wanted pudding, we didn't, but it would of been nice to have a choice.. We asked for the bill, and paid and left. Nothing was mentioned about the ribs, or that my friend hadn't hardly touched her main. Conclusion.. Food not as good as it used to be. Please don't take plates away whilst still eating. It makes a customer feel rushed. The Beef ribs are not on the bone. One bone on the side of the plate. Please respond if your customer is not happy with there food. Telling the chef didn't work. I would of happily spoke to him or her. We won't be going back. And won't recommend Texus Jack's unfortunately.....
It would be professional it I had a response from...
Read moreI had an absolutely fantastic experience at Texas Jack’s Bromley, and I have to give a special mention to Cillian, the amazing waiter, who made the evening even more enjoyable.
First, the paella—wow! I wasn’t expecting such an authentic and flavorful dish, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The saffron-infused rice was rich and aromatic, perfectly absorbing the flavors of the seafood and spices. The prawns were juicy, the mussels were fresh, and the chorizo added a delicious smoky depth. Each bite was packed with bold flavors, and the portion size was very generous—perfect for sharing or indulging on your own!
Then came the Cosmopolitan cocktails, which were simply perfection. The balance of vodka, cranberry, triple sec, and lime was just right—refreshing, smooth, and not too sweet. The presentation was elegant, served in a perfectly chilled glass with a lovely citrus aroma. The bartender really knew their craft because every Cosmo was mixed flawlessly.
Now, the highlight of the evening—Cillian, our waiter. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. His recommendations were spot on, and his knowledge of the menu was impressive. He had a great sense of humor, kept the energy light and fun, and made sure our drinks were always topped up without being intrusive. It’s rare to find such genuinely outstanding service, and Cillian absolutely nailed it!
The atmosphere at Texas Jack’s was warm and inviting, with a lively yet relaxed vibe, making it the perfect place for a...
Read moreWe had friends get together and wanted to go local. Not been to Texas Jacks before but was recommended. We didn’t think they would be busy as Bromley seems to be really quiet these days. However, when we arrived at 7:45 the place was packed!!! A cowgirl greeted us at the door and informed we would need to wait 20 minutes for a table of 6 to be free (we really should have booked) we then ordered cocktails and Sangria at the bar. The drinks were banging and I knew then it was going to be a good night.
As you walk in, the old county music hits you and you are instantly transported to a Texas Saloon!! The sizzling fajita that were being taken to a table arouses all your taste buds and went from being hungry to staving.
I knew fajita was going to be my food. 🤤😋I was salivating!
The staff are extremely friendly and can tell they love their job. The bartender lady, I think her name was Emily was super great, she is the Picasso of bartenders.
Food is seriously exceptionally amazing and fresh. We had mixture of tapas of prawns, nachos, wings, bravas, calamari, ribs. For mains, obviously I had to have the fajita. The beef ribs and brisket were demolished by the group . They have Tomahawk but after the amount of staters it was not even near possible for anyone to attempt on this occasion. The burgers looked delicious!
The music playlists was fantastic. The ambience and crowd were also great.
We found our new local hangout!
Thank you to the staff. We most certainly will be back! This is truly a new love...
