If youâre looking for a thrilling night out filled with fun and unique activities, Boom Battle Bar is the place to be! My friends and I recently visited, and we had an absolute blast, thanks in large part to our incredible host, Vasi.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. The vibrant decor and energetic ambiance set the perfect stage for a night of competitive fun. We were particularly eager to try our hand at axe throwing, something none of us had done before. Thatâs where Vasi truly shined!
Vasi was our axe throwing instructor, and I canât express enough how entertaining and engaging they were. With a warm smile and a contagious enthusiasm, Vasi immediately made us feel at ease. They explained the basics of axe throwing in a way that was easy to understand, breaking down the technique and safety measures with a blend of humor and expertise. It was clear that Vasi not only knew their stuff but was genuinely passionate about helping us learn.
Throughout our session, Vasi was incredibly supportive, offering tips and encouragement as we took our turns. They made sure to celebrate our successes, no matter how small, and turned any mishaps into moments of laughter. Thanks to Vasiâs guidance, we quickly improved our skills and began to enjoy the thrill of hitting the targetâwhat a rush!
The overall experience at Boom Battle Bar was fantastic. Alongside axe throwing, we enjoyed a variety of other activities that kept the energy high and the competition fierce. The food and drinks were also top-notch, providing the perfect fuel for our night of fun.
In summary, if youâre considering a visit to Boom Battle Bar, I highly recommend it! And if youâre lucky enough to have Vasi as your instructor, youâre in for an unforgettable experience. They truly made our night special, transforming what could have been a simple outing into an entertaining adventure filled with laughter and camaraderie. We canât wait to come back for more axe throwing and to see what other exciting activities Boom Battle Bar...
Read moreI went with 6 friends for a couple hours as part of a stag-do. We'd paid for a package that included axe-throwing, crazy golf, and two drinks. We arrived 30 mins late due to travel issues. I had tried phoning an hour ahead of time to say we'd be late, but kept arriving at a generic "we will do our best to accommodate you" message and couldn't get through to the Aldgate venue itself. As a result, we had to miss 30 mins of our axe-throwing, even though no-one had booked the activity after us. The throwing was curtly explained and then we were left to get on with it and create our own hype. It was a little bit fun... but not as much as I'd hoped when I'd arranged the stag. After 30 minutes the boys were bored anyway so it didn't matter that our time was cut short. The crazy golf was very disappointing. Each hole was quite short and was either far too easy or impossibly difficult. It had quirky elements to mix it up but scoring well seemed a bit random. Not all the machines / tracks worked. Besides, the music throughout the venue was constantly ear-splittingly loud so it was hard to enjoy the time with friends or even communicate at all. Throughout the evening, staff would sporadically come up and offer to get us drinks, which was good service. Bartenders were very helpful in enabling us to cash in our tokens. This service was good. I had an alright time but I'd want to go somewhere with sensible-volumed music and actually fun activities were I...
Read moreThis place had a variety of entertainment available , with a pretty good darts game With an electronic board which made it a lot of fun, pool, shuffleboard, hoops, and putt putt.
weâve been sure to start the reviews we do by saying we are coming from Australia and thus our dollar is weak, so for us the place wasnât cheap, not a rip off by any means , but not cheap for us.
We did the beer pong, which included either 4 pints of beer, cider, dark cider, or a bottle of Prosecco (we think) and know nothing of the whs issues, however the cups are metal and heavy , and were filled with water instead, worth a mention because it did take us out of the game just a bit
We wanted to shout out George (apologies if we got this wrong) the staff who looked after us, he was lovely and explained everything perfectly
For us, the putt putt was old school, some of the courses here really encouraged blasting the balls, which kind of misses the point of a scored course like this, we flew off the course so many times with our incompetence by the end we didnât even care about the score anymore
This place wins out because itâs not just putt putt, I canât imagine if it was a rainy day and quiet here that something wouldnât be fun for almost...
