Read moreI just had my first visit here and am not sure if I would ever come back.
I visited here on Friday around 6pm. It was pretty busy and I couldn’t really find empty seats. I ended up in sitting at the table that was right next to the toilet which was admittedly very unpleasant since so many people went to the toilet…
What I really don’t appreciate is one staff was taking up three tables right next to the buffet corner, which could accommodate 6 people or so. She was doing some paper work, which I usually don’t mind at all but a bit inappropriate as the restaurant was full. I would have appreciated if we could have one of the tables.
On top of it, a male staff started mopping the whole floor including the buffet area and it made the floor really slippery. I just didn’t understand why they needed to start the cleaning routine at the peak time, when so many people were around him. I hope it’s not their tactic to slow people down from taking the food lol It was actually dangerous.
The food was just okay. Mostly very cheap frozen food like samosa, spring rolls with very little fillings, and prawn toast. Other than that, different types (3?) of watery curry, some meat dish, vegetarian dish and noodles, nothing was great. I mean that’s fair enough considering it’s only £10 but it wasn’t for me. I’d rather pay more to get a little bit better quality.
The highlight was witnessing some people (surprisingly quite a few) sneak a lot of food into the containers they brought from home. That’s was shocking. Also, the weird remix songs were very loud. The whole experience...
Read moreavoid it if you can, nowhere close original thai food, I wouldn't write this review but I got the approval from the owner so let me explain.
The guy in front of the store tries to give deep-fried frozen samosas to attract people for all you can eat menu. Then you pay 12-18 pounds per person for all you can eat menu. Here is where strangeness begin, if you go for thai noodles with bean sprouts(which they call pad thai but pad thai is not that SIMPLE), there are also no proper rice noodles(sen lek), they are too sweet and too sour (probably spoiled food). Then you check out the curries, all of them are dumped coconut milk with basic vegetables that are nowhere close to actual ingredients.
Overall it is just mistakes over mistakes which is covered under the name of wrong kitchen. I even spoke to some old thai ladies who went there for dining and they said in thai that they were disappointed.
just avoid this place, look for nearby alternatives, there are local thai restaurants which are 100 times better than this place, don't get tricked by deep fried frozen samosa guy, the dishes are...
