This is one of the places on King street which is open quite late. We really wanted a nice hot chocolate to warm up as it was freezing cold out and we had been shopping till late. We got there around 8:30ish. The place was pretty empty however they had loads of online orders and all the delivery drivers were waiting to pick up orders. When we got to the till, the lady explained they were extremely busy (the place was empty!) and it would take them 30-45mins for whatever we order ! I ordered a waffle with icecream and a hot choc! We sat down, quite nice and bit sitting area at the back! We finished our waffle, no sign of hot choc so I asked one of the staff. She said she will check. Then a few minutes later (bearing in mind by now it has been almost an hour since we ordered our stuff) turned up with a disposable cup! He explained they had no mugs left, fine! I opened the cup, there was no cream or toppings! He try to fob me off saying he put everything in but it was all melted! I told him we were there for a proper hot choc experience, we didn’t ask for a take out hot choc! In the end he made a proper one and brought it over. He said we could keep the other hot choc too! Kind of ruin the experience! I didn’t appreciate the person at the till trying to put us off at first and then messing up my order, would I go there again? Not sure! I have had better experiences at other Creams branches.

This is now a firmly established branch of creams that doesn't have much to compete with in the specialist cold dessert market. They're made every effort during the lockdown to keep the shop frontage looking inviting and fresh. Even though the queue and takeout menu of tub or coned ice-cream is limited the staff still make it a visit to remember with excellent personal used service, great smiles and fantastic patience. My nearly three year old foodie granddaughter was attempting to choose her cone topping by colour alone. Never a good idea!. She was offered a small tasting spoon of pink and blue, ( strawberry and bubblegum). Firm favourite was the pink. The next cone for the other grandchild was superloaded with free sprinkles as she had to wait longer. See photos for the pancake stack offers and special order menu all of which should be available from 12 th April onwards. When the booths are eventually liberated to sit in to devour these amazing king sized dessert feasts make sure you pay a visit.

A friend and I went there by coincidence, on its second day after opening. The venue is nice -newly decorated in black and purple, kind of funny. The menu was pretty varied and everything looked yummy. We ordered a bubble wrap and a milkshake, both tasty. The only and big thing we didn't like at all was that the waiter kept asking if we wanted something else or not because he needed to get the bill straight away... we were asked several times the same, if we were already done with ordering because we had to pay! Really really annoying. We wanted to order a slice of apple cake and something else but we got so annoyed we decided not to. Seriously, as customers we didn't feel really appreciated, more like "hurry up, order fast and pay me"! Not sure if I'll go back again just because of the service, although the food was nice.

Hi I'm a customer at your shop creams , I was given your number by Abdul , the last 3 times I have come to the shop your new manager has been very rude to me and my family he doesn't make the ice cream Sundaes the the standard expected for £9 , when you ask him why he has not made it the way it is on the photo he argues with customers to the point I had to leave the shop and ask for a refund, I asked him to put chocolate sprinkles on a ice cream for a little girl he put hundreds and thousands and started arguing with me again saying it's sprinkles not chocolate again had to make him change the order , I've come into the shop with a group of ppl and he wants to give me dirty looks ,this is not the way a manager of the shop should be behaving today there is still no strawberry sauce or wafers no sheets to put Sundaes on and this has been since last week , then sadly Abdul has told me the lady has left because of this rude new manager whom might I add wouldn't give me your phone number as he says he is in charge, alot of ppl are going to be very disappointed pls bring the lady bk she makes the shop a happy place I often bring ppl in with disabilities and she is patient and caring this guy is rude and arrogant with customers ,I am not the only person he has upset and surely takings must be down because of his attitude, pls feel free to discuss further, ...

BEWARE! This is the WORSE experience I have ever had with creams. This branch has severely tarnished the creams reputation.

The waffle it self was luke warm and just about edible.

The milkshake had a weird after taste/smell coming from it, something strong and disappealing, I took 2 sips and disposed of it, right befofe it SPILLED all over me with me attempting to drink it with out any STRAWS provided!

Last but not least here was a direct message to creams saying bring extra then normal cutlery (a plastic knife and fork). No response from creams. Uber eats delivered it fast but with NO cutlery! Due to no cutlery within the versinity it was true caveman experience.

Thanks creams because I especially enjoyed getting my hands dirty during these covid times. After telling the uber driver theres no cutlery his casual response "your not the first to complain". This has been such an unpleasant experience,

I feel robbed, I never write reviews, but people should definitely consider using this particular creams!!! I've wasted my money, time, only to dispose of this weird smelling/tasting milkshake and to get my hands dirty on this luke...
